Need to subdue stainless barrel

My rifle returns with a stainless barrel soon and I'd like to subdue it to match the action, a Rem 700. The barrel will be bead blasted and it occurred to me that I could probably get a good color match with a can of semi-gloss black spray paint, as crude as this may seem. Anyone else ever do this?

Cerakote it.

I know a couple of guys who believe the brightness of stainless will spook deer. The rattle can their guns flat black. It holds up well.

Cerakote for nice, Duracoat for passable, grill or header paint for service.

FWIW, a spray can job is easy to touch up or completely remove.

Dupli-Color auto trim touch-up paint is real durable.

I'd use that for a cheap rattle-can finish.

Its available at most any auto parts store.

A sincere thanks for the responses. Will check into the duracoat but will probably just go with the spray paint. This is for a personal range rifle that is unlikely to be resold.
