I am looking for a holster for my usp compact. I have a problem of being thin and tall. Can anyone recommend a holster that is high with a forward cant. I hoping this will eliminate my problem of the gun being noticeable. Or let me rephrase that less noticeable.

Milt sparks has one for the full size so I assume the compact as well, I believe its the I-BAK, which is OOB, they may have some IWB to but the USP is a gun I wouldnt want to carry IWB personally.

Have you considered a shoulder holser? I have a galco and you may be surprised at how easily it conceals depending on your daily wordrobe.

IWB or OWB?

IWB the gun will probably not be as noticeable as you think.

You will think people can see it, but most people really don't pay that much attention.

Mitch Rosen - period. :cool: Seriously. He now does ALL my leather gear. His stuff is just that good. Take a look at his site www.mitchrosen.com and give him a call, they can tailor thier stuff a little to suit your specif needs and maybe suggest some thigns for you.
Like you, I contend with being being thin and tall. Using one of his holsters (5JR), I can easily carry concealed a full size USP. I don't normally but have without issues. He'll be getting an order soon for one for my P2Ksk.

more details

I was thinking owb for my mode of carry. I don’t' require the weapon for work so that’s not an issue. You probably noticed I live in PRNJ so I can't carry at work anyway. (But I do enjoy walking around the yard with a gun, a shot here and there keeps the neighbors on their toes)I would like to be able wear jeans and a tee shirt, not a parka and be fairly covered. I see you point gunnut maybe I am looking too hard to see it. Milt and Mitch both have some nice products I going to have to do some more browsing though.

Never;

I've been dealing with Milt Sparks leather for a number of years now. I've never had a problem or been dissatisfied in any way. You can call them & talk to Tony, Milt isn't with us anymore, & get things the way you want them. For what it's worth, I've been carrying my USPc in an Exec's Companion IWB from them for about 10 years now. It's hung on a Milt Sparks belt also. Holster's just fine, the belt seems to be getting shorter however, but it still works. Oh, and that's not my first, or last, piece of Sparks leather either.

I believe they have an on-line catalog also, but if you want to call, they're in Boise Idaho & in the phone book.
