I need some new load data. I have been using Win 231 with 124 gr. plated bullets for my IDPA loads. With the dearth of powder I ended up with some WSF. Folks who load 9mm 124 gr. plated bullets with WSF, what are your loads? I'm looking for something stout enough to make the 125,000 cut off, but soft enough to still be controllable.
Thanks.

Depending on the brand of 124 gr RN plated bullet, at more typical 1.135" OAL, you may make power factor with 4.5-4.7 gr of WSF. Depending on the barrel, you may need 4.8 gr. I do not know what groove diameter barrel is in Tanfoglio and you probably need to chrono to be sure you are around 1010-1050 fps.

Hodgdon load data
124 gr LEAD RN WSF OAL 1.169" Start 4.0 gr (945 fps) 22,200 PSI - Max 4.7 gr (1055 fps) 27,300 PSI

124 gr FMJ WSF OAL 1.169" Start 4.7 gr (1015 fps) 27,700 PSI - Max 5.3 gr (1115 fps) 32,700 PSI

I use the WSF max for 124g jacketed in 9mmx19.

Keep in mind you need to load for a bit more than 125.0 power factor
to allow for variables. I like to achieve an average of around 133 which gives me a comfortable margin.

after messing with several other powders i settled on WSF
for 9mm
for 125gr LTCFP i used 4.0-4.3gr wsf
for 147gr LCNFP i used 3.6-3.8gr wsf

had good results with both loads

but as all ways

DONT TRUST DATA FROM RANDOM INTERTUBE PEOPLE!
verify it yourself from real load data in your manuals

My WSF load (currently my favorite range recipe):

4.6gr WSF
Berry 9mm 125gr RN Plated
1.155 OAL
Winchester Brass

As everyone will always say, but ALWAYS true: work up to this load, and verify. This is my TESTED load, and works great, but always start with less and work up to it.
