Need XD-9sc Help.

I'm assuming that the xd-9sc is the Springfield version of the G26. Please correct me if this isn't the case (I'm trying to learn this stuff). As far as cost they seem to be similar. How different are they in quality. I mean are there any issues with either that would cause me to favor one more that the other.

They may be nearly the same size, but I'd stop right there by saying the XD9SC is not the Springfield version of a G26.

From a guy that owns both, they are seriously just about the same gun. Both are excellent quality and extremely reliable.

They're very close from most practical standpoints. The biggest factor in choosing will be which one feels best in your hand.

If you like to read comparisons on these two, try Glocktalk and XDTalk. There is some comparison chatter, good natured bashing, and good info.
The trade off in my opinion seems to be the additional thickness of the XD (about 1/8th", I think).
