Tomorrow is the fist match of the season at my local club and as usual the weather is going to be 40 degrees and rain snow mix. Been in upper 70's low 80's all week, but highs in 40 and mixed precip all weekend.

What kind of match? I can imagine something with movement would be more impacted by the weather than something pretty static like steel challenge.

Think of it as an early spring, late winter water park excursion with firearms........... ;)

Typical spring type thing in more northern latitudes. Starts to get nice out and you start enjoying the weather and BAM! The climate regresses back about a month and you are back into winter..... I'm well accustomed to it, and I don't even get my hopes up until late April, early May.

I feel your pain. I've collected eight or ten different boxes of quality .22 LR ammo to test in my Bergara B14R. The weather has been perfect all week, but work has me slammed. Tomorrow the wind is up as a front blows through: 15-20 mph with gusts to 30. Hardly a day to do testing.

Might go ahead and pound some steel with a centerfire, though.
