Never thought I would pay….

Thanks, I think!

I went ahead and ordered a brick, total after hazmat and shipping was $165.08, but something strange happened. After I entered my CC info instead of going to the order confirmation page the page got hung up. It's just been spinning with the loading next step message for that last 10 minutes or so. I went into my CC account and it shows the charge to Natchez as pending, so maybe everything is ok, but I'll be monitoring the account till I know for sure.

I've never dealt with Natchez before but I've heard of them. They are a reputable site aren't they?

I just got the order confirmation in my email so I guess everything is ok.
I have bought bullets from them several times. Nothing else though.

I've paid about $100 per 1,000 the last 2 years. Before 2 years ago, I was only reloading large rifle and still have many primers that I paid less than $32 per brick. But, I got into small pistol and small rifle, so I got to buy at market price. I bought a brick from Powder Valley a year ago for about $90 with shipping, fees, and tax, Got lucky by refreshing my browser many times.

I then bid and (got lucky, I guess) on a brick from GB for $130 including shipping about a year ago. I monitored and gave up until recently. Brownells had small pistol and small rifle in stock at the same time, along with IMR4064 (my favorite powder) so I got 2 bricks and 2lbs of powder for less than $300 with coupons. I guess that is the best deal you can get right now. Who knows the future...

I think it was back in the Clinton era, I walked into a hardware store for something not related to reloading and saw the owner had a FFL and was selling primers for $13.99 a thousand.
I bought them all 6-7 thousand, I think I still have some!

But to some of us that's just a 3 month supply. ;)
