OK. 10 years ago I picked up an Armory USA AK-47, and promptly turned it into a mall-ninja poser w/ dust cover rail, Aimpoint Clone RDS & Krink "Jungle Carbine" brake. It shot decent enough, but in typical WASR fashion, the sights were badly mis-aligned, and it had to go.
Having always craved a QUALITY AK, I new another would find its way across my path. This time, it would be different. Here it is -- Polish 1960 Milled, Tapco G2, Ironwood furniture, Ultimak Rail, Aimpoint 9000L 2MOA RDS in Aimpoint rings, AK-74 type brake and finally a neoprene recoil buffer & 6 steel bulgarian un-issued mags.
The Aimpoint co-witnesses perfectly with the irons, and with zero adjustment the dot is perfectly centered in the notch. this Century build is actually straight!!
I will sight it in at the lease this weekend; pics to follow. I like this one A LOT. let me know what you think---
