"New and Improved" Novak Extreme Duty sights
Does anyone have a pair of these yet?
I have the first-generation "old-and-inferior" Extreme Duty sights and really, really like them...but my two quibbles are 1) the protective "wings" are butt ugly and stand at least half-again as tall as normal Novak lo-mounts, and 2) the elevation-adjustable sight blade is not centered in between the protective wings. There's a visible gap between the left side of the blade and the wing. Not a very big deal, but preventable with high-end machining...which is to be expected for the $$ you pay for these things.
Anyone know if the new sight is lower-profile, or did away with the fitting gap?
Thanks!
Rich
