New BLACK Remington Magnum Marine.

As a "heads up" Remington has introduced an new BLACK FINISH Magnum Marine 870 shotgun.

It comes with a sling, magazine extension, and a magazine type Speedfeed stock.

Apparently the finish is some sort of rust resistant salt water finish.

It's the new Remington Model 870 XCS Magnum Marine.

I wonder how much better than parkerizing that finish holds up?

Looks nice, but those speed feed stocks are miserable for left handed shooters. I had one on my 870p for a while and it dug into my cheek. I replaced it with the plain synthetic speedfeed stock without the shell holders and have been happy with it.

Let's see, buy a short barrel for my old Express (which I've been threatening to do for 10+ years) or buy a new gun. Well that's a no brainer.

I really like this shotgun. Somebody said there was nickel under the dark finish.

Only $639.99 on the Impact Guns site - the first price I came across.
