Picked this up earlier in the week when I went in to get my rifle. It's a Browning BDA .380, made by Beretta for them. I thought it was just "new to me", but it looked really mint. I disassembled to clean it and there are absolutely no wear marks on the slide and no marks on the breech face to indicate it has ever been fired.

I'll try to correct that unfired part tomorrow.:)

Nice buy. Looks even better with the nickel. Don't lock it up in a safe; take it out and shoot it.

Sure is purty. Let us know how the shoot goes - I'm curious how the trigger feel is - see if it's anything like the BHP.

I had one of these back in the late 1970's. It is one of the many on my "Wish I still had it" list and the best shooting .380 I ever owned. :)

That's

A Beauty. I'll bet that thing shoots real fine w/o much recoil to speak of.
Go get some RGoldernSaber 102 gr and give us a range report.

No kiddin.. guns are meant to be shot folks! I was drooling over those WW1/2? Navy 1911s that I saw in another thread within the last few days, and I thought to myself, "Would I actually shoot these?" My answer right away was yes, definitely. It's cool to say you have held or own a piece of history, but I think it's even cooler to spit lead out of one and feel what a soldier felt during a real world war. THAT would be a joy IMO. So WWI collectable or $2k+ Wilson 1911, you just HAVE to shoot it at some point...

Anyhow, NICE piece! Shoot the heck out of that thing! Do it for me, will ya?

You have just bought yourself one of the finest 380 autos out there. I've had mine since the early 80's. To date no FTF/FTE. If I had to call any of my guns 100% reliable she would be it. Don't let go of her and buy plenty of mags to keep her and you happy!!!!!!!

I'm looking for another BDA or a Beretta 84, I had both of them and have regretted selling them ever since. I lost a bid on one of the auctions a while back by a buck. I have to sleep sometimes!

my nickled Beretta 84 was my first semi automatic and I enjoyed it very much...wanted to get the Browning but in the early '80s they were near impossible to find and in Nickle...even moreso...enjoy...it looks great!

I don't understanding people who buy a gun and never shoot it. What fun is that?

I could wish for bigger sights, but otherwise, nice classy looking piece you have there.
