I got lucky and bought a Springfield Hellcat a few days ago. While the gun store was mostly devoid of handguns, they had a few Hellcats left. I had waited awhile after the Hellcat came out to see if it there were any problems.

Today bought a 1791 IWB holster and carried it today appendix carry to test it out. So far I like it. And the gun feels good in my hand. Normally I carry a j frame 642 in an alien gear IWB holster at the 5 o'clock. I think this is a nice upgrade and am happy with it.

I hope you will enjoy your Hellcat as much as I've enjoyed mine. It has performed better than I'd hoped. A Sig Romeo Zero sits atop mine and can't sing enough praises of the combination. Other than the mags being hard to load there are no complaints.

Welcome to the 21st century

teasing, teasing, teasing

But is doesn't matter because it never happened without a picture

I have noticed the mags are a bit hard to load but I use a magazine loader which definitely helps!

I'm still on the fence between the P365 and the Hellcat. Tried the P365 when it first came out and thought it was almost too small for a high capacity 9mm., if that's possible! Haven't even seen a Hellcat since they were introduced.

I really like my Hellcat but I don't shoot it as well as I think I think I should. I have few hundred rounds through it and I shoot it ok but not up to par with several other pistols I own. I too have a Romeo Zero on it.

I think the grip is too small around for me. I put a Talon grip on it and it is better but I think a little thicker would be better. It may also be that the trigger is heavy for a 1911 guy or a combination of both.

A good reference is that at 25 yards shooting at a mini-popper my hit rate is about 50 percent. I do that well with my first gen LCP.

I have friends that shoot it great, so it's all me. OTOH, not many shoot my LCP all that well.

That sounds like a good choice, I had a XDS 9x19 good reliable gun but I couldn't get the trigger down.

I wouldn't have minded the p365. Unfortunately they had none in stock, and after doing research the Hellcat for awhile I leaned more towards it. Either way I believe both pistols fill their role nicely.

I purchased the P365XL first and a few months later I picked up a P365. Both a great shooters..but I just couldn't warm up to the P365, it just felt to small in my hand. As far as concealment is concerned, the P365 with the pinky finger extended grip was about as large as the XL grip. The additional length doesn't affect it for carry. I carry IWB appendix. I sold my P365 yesterday to someone with smaller hands. I'm going to replace it eventually with a HK P30SK.

I just picked up a P365 SAS, love the gun! The sight was easy to learn, and the ported Barrel makes it shoot like my full size CZ75. 25yrd hits, rapid fire on my steel 11x18 Target, I was 10 for 10, very easy to shoot!
