Just returned yesterday from my third range visit with the new CZ. All visits I used S&B and Fiocchi 115gr FMJ. On the first visit I had several failures to chamber with the S&B. The last two visits had reliability at 100% with both brands of ammo so I will write off the problems as new gun and lite ammo. Accuracy continues to improve so I will determine that gun hasn't broken in fully at this point. Groups are at about 3in at 25yds. The SA trigger pull is great and I see no need for any gunsmith trigger work. The plastic trigger does feel flimsy and I fear would be easy to break. Perhaps my confidence will build with usage in regard to the trigger. This gun balances in my hand better than the bulkier 40cal CZ that I owned in the same configuration. Upon returning home yesterday I decided to install a set of Hawkan grips I had left over from CZs of yore. One of the phillips head (yes PHILLIPS HEAD) grip screws was frozen in place and I ended up breaking the plastic stock grip and using pliers to remove the screw. A quick call to CZUSA put 4 more grip screws on order. All in all I think this gun will turn out well. I have a Mil Turk CZ75B with 1000rds thru it that continues to improve in accuracy with each range visit and I hope this new CZ will be no exception.

Good little gun...Ive had many CZ's and the SA is by far and away the most accurate. The first outing with mine was just over a month ago....its stellar. Accuracy is absolutely top notch...better than my old mans Les Baer out of the box......
The plastic trigger is a point of contention with alot of people including CZUSA..they dont like them at all.....can you say..."replace my (#$%#)% broken trigger" :cuss:
Im selling mine to replace it with another SA thats a little more "setup" to my liking.....Shoot well

Try SOME winchester 115 gr JHPs thru it. The Silvertip was the
single most accurate load in HANDGUNS testing for CZs.

0.3 inches @ 25 yards from the bench if i recall.

As for the plastic trigger. Some do break. i had no problems
with mine.

The Champion trigger is adjustable in two places. take-up
and over-travel. Once you set it up to take out the slack.
Then you can concentrate on your sight picture..as the
trigger is way sweet. Minimal travel and very light and crisp.

CZ-USA has the triggers, but might decide to not offer them
as the supply is getting low.

The 75SA is THE BEST CZ for your money if you want a
cocked & locked range or CCW gun, and don't mind the
weight.

I understand that CZUSA is offering (for sale) a steel or aluminum replacement trigger. Which are most people going for?

I don't see the steel or aluminum trigger on in CZ-USA website.
It does mention a spring to allow magazines to drop free though.
How easy is it to change the trigger yourself?

Plastic trigger? 3" groups at 25 yards? Phillips head grip screws that break? Good luck with all that.

Firestar,
We appreciate the "luck" and all...but dont need it.
The dimension was .3" or .300" at 25yds.
Typical accuracy of the SA out of the box is around 1" from a rest at 25 yds....
My trigger has had no problems as have most others....most are killed by people who dont know its plastic and do what they shouldnt do anyway....pull on it hard with the safety on......
As for the odd problems that arise.....it happens to every gun company....HK, Sig and Glock included.....its just a gun.
Shoot well
