Don't know if this is the right topic?
New Gander Mountain opened up here in southern Florida in PALM BEACH COUNTY!!! Now we don't have to drive all the way to Fort Lauderdale to go to Bass Pro Shops.
Great store, lots of stuff everywhere, guns left and right and easy for you to grab and see without having to ask the counter guy!
The customer service is GREAT. Everybody there is extremely polite and helpful. Its been open since Monday and I've been there yesterday and today for 3 hours each day just looking around.
My buddy got the first robin hood (shoot an arrow into another arrow) on the archery range, and they asked if they could keep the arrows and they gave him a hat. The arrow was put up on the wall with a paper with his name and it also says that its the first Robin Hood at this specific store.
This is the soft opening, Grand opening isn't for like 3 more weeks. Prices seemed decent, they had cheap stuff and they had expensive stuff. They charged $2.50 to cut 6 arrows. Not bad.
All in all, a great day.
P.S. This is my longest post ever. Oh and I wasn't allowed to use the archery range cause I'm 17 and you have to be 18 or else you have to have an adult go with you.
