I had a Glock 30SF, sold it about a year ago; it was ammo / magazine picky and pinched my pinky.

I decided to give the Glock 30 SF another try.
After I bought it, I shot about 25 rounds of 230 Hydra-Shok and RangerT before any modifications.
The lower 1/3 of my 2nd & 3rd fingers rode on top of the finger humps and that made for uncomfortable shooting.

Finger humps were removed with a Dremel tool and sandpaper, I lightly stippled where they were.
A piece of bicycle tube completed the grip.
I sanded the magazine base where my pinky got pinched; a plumbing o-ring filled the gap between mag base and frame.
I installed Meprolight night sights (green front, yellow rear) and a NY trigger.
IME the 30/29/36 sights hit high, requiring a 6 o'clock hold, which I don't like; so, I installed 9mm/40 sights.
I replaced the MIM striker and extractor with a Lone Wolf steel striker and cast extractor (may be unnecessary, but makes me happy).

My 2nd shooting session was great.
Removal of the finger protrusions made the grip comfortable and pinky pinch was not an issue.
About 100 rounds of various HP ammo was shot using 4 different magazines without any malfunction and brass ejection was good (not toward my head).
At 6 - 7 yards, the 9mm/40 sights hit how I aimed, no 6 o'clock hold. ;)

Chrono results for 5 or 6 shot averages:
Federal Hydra-Shok 230 gr. @ 811 fps / 336# KE / PF 187
Winchester Ranger T 230 gr. @ 903 fps /417# KE / PF 208 (recoil difference vs others was noticeable)
Federal Hydra-Shok 185 +P @ 1,005 fps / 415# KE / PF 186
Remington Golden Saber 185 +P @ 1,008 fps / 418# KE / PF 186

I'm glad I gave the 30SF a 2nd chance. :)
