New Glock 30

New to me that is. I picked up a very lightly used G30, still had the Glock copper colored grease on the slide. It could not have had many rounds put through it, picked it up for $429 locally! I'm stoked! It is a great shooting pistol for the size, 10+1 in a compact package and it takes my 13rd G21 mags! Put 200rds through it yesterday evening and not a single hiccup of course. Definitely a keeper and will go in my carry rotation!

Nope, not the SF. I have not tried any of the SF models, but I heard standard mags will not fit? This a great shooting little 45ACP, I'm not sure why it isn't more popular for CCW. It shoots a heck of a lot better than the Kahr P45, as good as if not better than the M&P 45c and it takes the 13rd G21 mags. I'll be carrying the 13rd as a spare mag, 24rds of 45ACP in a small accurate CCW pistol...what's not to like here?

It's a gun shop lie to sell mags!!

I had the same line tried on me when I bought my G30SF.
I promptly said no thanks, went home and dug out my old G21 mags, took the whole kit-in-kabodle to the range and fired 50 flawless rounds through them!!

The G21with the ambi safety was the ONLY .45 Glock that took the special mag and I understand Glock has discontinued that option.

I bought mine about 3 months ago. I think it shoots better than my G22. I finally found out what other people meant about the 40 recoil versus the 45. 45 is more of a push rather than the snap of the 40. Both excellent weapons. I am CCW my G30. sweet shooter
