Good Glock resources......
Here are a few great sources for Glock parts/services/features;
www.glockworx.com www.glockstore.com www.customizeyourglock.com www.glockmeister.com www.brownells.com www.midwayusa.com www.grafs.com www.natchezss.com www.policehq.com .
I like the Glock 23 .40S&W. I almost purchased a police trade in Glock 23 .40 a few months ago but I had a minor problem at the last minute that kept me from buying it. I did get a LE trade-in/factory reconditioned Glock 21 .45acp gen 04 with 3 dot night sights.
It shoots well & I have no major problems with it. The only -s are the new Glock steel surface which is a charcoal grey color rather than a slick black like the "tennifer" styles. My Glock gen 04 gets strange blotches of light grey on the metal.
It wipes off quickly but I never saw anything like that on my Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm slide/barrel or my M&P Compact .45acp model. I plan to get the Glock 21 upper treated with Metalife soon. That should help the problem.
I also had the Glock 21 guide rod stick out while doing an assembly.
I've owned many semi auto pistols over the last 25 years but I've never seen a frame or spring/guide rod do that. I fixed it, but the Glock factory .45acp barrel now has a long scuff mark under it.
I've considered buying a match grade .45acp Glock barrel like Storm Lake or KKM. The EKGfiredragon barrel looks cool too. I'm in no big rush to buy that.
I
would add the
www.tangodown.com Vickers slide release & Glock gen 04 mag release. I'm left handed & like these after market parts.
Id close by adding the new Safariland AS7 polymer holster is great for duty, field or concealed carry of the Glock 23 .40S&W. It comes in FDE brown or black. Safariland has a new design & engineered the new holster line to prevent scuffs/nicks/wear. The holsters are light & can fit different belt widths/styles.
The aren't available yet for the Glock 20/21 models but are out there for Glocks in 26/27/33, 19/23 & 17/22/31. They also market M&P & Beretta M9 holster sizes. See the Safariland.com site for details.

PS; for cleaning/service, get a GTUL for the Glock magazines & a Glock armorer's tool. Good CLPs include FrogLube, Weaponshield, Gunzilla, IGG, and Eezox. Don't use a lot of gun oil or greases with Glocks.
