I would like some nice wood grips for the Beretta Stampede like they have on the delux model. Where can I buy them. I can't find them on Beretta's web site.

i am in the same boat.

i have been told Beretta sells the grips and they are pricey...plus they want the pistol to fit the grips.

there is a pretty big aftermarket for Uberti SAA grips , and they will apparently fit the Stampedes with a little fitting.

As I understand it, the Stampede can take Colt SAA grips, as can Ubertis, USFAs and many other "clones". But Colt grip frames vary somewhat and the various clones vary too (or they're each copied from different era Colts).

So the gripmakers sell oversize grips for all of these that need fitting.

You can either do the fitting yourself or have the gripmaker do it. Personally, I think I'd go talk to Eagle grips as their turnaround time on the gun is likely to be WAY under Beretta's and you'll have a major variety of grip materials to pick from.

what do you guys think of these Beretta grips? I made them for a friend but could make other sets if need be. The wood used for this set was wenge followed by 6 coats of poly with sanding between each coat.
