New Grips for my 1911

I have a buddy in my church that got crafty this past weekend...he brought these too me tonight to try out...I think they look really, really good...some kind of "Zebra Wood"...never heard of it, but looks really good...let me know what you think...

I think I like them as well...there a few "adjustments" to make them super tight, but for a trace and cut out, they look really good, and feel really good!
 
Zebrawood is commonly used when making grips. It's a nice wood with some neat grain figure. Those look pretty good!

I'm glad to see that more and more people are picking up the hobby of making their own grips. Be warned though, it gets addicting.
