Ok I have a jones for a new gun. Don't know what though.
I have a
CZ SP01 With kadet kit
CZ Rami
Kel Tec P32
Walther P1
Bushmaster AR15
Mossberg Plinkster 22.
Thought about a 1911 platform but really want to stay with the same manual of arms DA/SA. Also would like to stay with 9mm, if I decide to reload in the future.
Maybe a 22lr revolver or something.
Any suggestions
Thanks

A .22 revolver is a good addition to any collection- inexpensive to shoot, and so forth. Ruger makes the venerable Single Six, and S&W make some small frame D/A revolvers in this caliber- depends on what you want....

If you want a good, dependable .9 mm, I would recommend a S&W 3rd generation gun- (I noted that you didn't list one on your current inventory) Reliable, easy to shoot, and robust...just my 2 cents

That's quite a varied list. You run the range from KT P32 to Bushmaster AR15...

What do you already own and are there any 'gaps' in your collection?

A shotgun is missing from your collection.

You have the .22 Kadet Kit for your CZ so there really isn't a crying need for a .22 revolver though nice to have.

You don't have a med. to large caliber scoped centerfire rifle. Always nice to have.

You really ought to have a nice used K frame revolver, preferably a m19 or 66.

Everybody ought to have at least one single action revolver.

It is unchristian as well as unpatriotic not to have some kind of lever action rifle whether you shoot it or not.

You have your 9mm bases pretty well covered. What would another 9mm offer that you don't already have?

While you have the money, this may indeed be the time to buy a reloading set-up.

From your post it looks like you just want another gun.
At current prices keep your money.
In a year you'll be able to buy the whole list for the current price of an AR

AFS

You need a 22 handgun. Make a list and do the pin the tail on the donkey thing. Choice made!

the 1911 is yor best choice . . . they are super accurate and reliable . . . and if your wantin to reload then you should buy a 45 anyway cause its cheaper to just buy factory ammo for a 9mm than it is to reload them . . . hope this makes your decision easier

You've sort of left it way too wide open. YOU need to at least figure out what class or two you want to fill.

But if the lure of a .22 revolver rises to the top of the list then I'd suggest a nice clean used K frame S&W or my personal favourite the little J framed model 34 kit gun set up with a custom wood grip to fit your hands better. The little J frame is light and small but for me that lets more of the "life" from the .22 round reach my hand and adds to the shooting experience. But if putting really accurate holes in paper and the heft of a "proper" gun is important then one of the K framed offerings would be best. The K22 is one such gun.

I prefer the swing out hand ejector style since it makes loading a far faster experience. And with .22 ammo where you're far more tempted to run through a lot of ammo in a session the need to eject each casing and load each single new round through a single action's loading port is just far too much for me. I may get one at some point but it'll be WELL after a swing out cylinder DA revolver first.

And while we're on revolvers... what about a cowboy action style SAA in .357 Magnum? A nice single action to play with and a cartridge that has some serious prescence in the hand.

Why not buy a Ruger New Model Super Single Six .22 (.22 mag) convertable...

You have 6 firearms (of which 4 are handguns) and not one of them is a .357?

Well I guess we know what your next caliber is gonna be.

Ruger GP100 or S&W 686 or something of that nature. A good double action .357 with 4-6" barrel, in SS.

From the list of firearms you own I can see that you don't have a revolver or a lever action, as well as a shotgun. Any of these is a classic, but by all means you should not but something because someone else thinks you should. I like having your kind of problem, what gun should I buy. . .

Either a shotgun or a good revolver.

I personally like revolvers a lot. My next handgun will probably be a single action .22 most likely Ruger.
