This is for new guns you'd like to see companies introduce.

I want to see:

* - A Ruger stainless 1911 (priced at $575 or less).

* -A "Baby" Glock in .22 LR. That'd be a great trail gun.

* -A 3" barrelled Ruger .44 Special DA based on the old Security Six frame.

* -Colt get back into the civilian gun market in a big way, with reasonable prices and good quality control. (And a re-intro of the old 1903 .32 would sell big just as a nostaliga piece, I bet.)

* - A Glock carbine.

* - A single stack Glock compact 9mm.

* - A Remington 870 (or Mossberg 500) in 16 gauge. I like 16 gauge for some reason.

* - A re-intro of the stainless Rossi 3 inch .44 Special.

* - A re-intro of the stainless Taurus .44 Special (yes, I like .44 Specials).

* - A stainless 4 3/4" Blackhawk in .41 Magnum.

* - A reworked "looks the same but is more reliable" .44 AutoMag, selling for less than eight bills, with factory ammo available. The AutoMag was a cool looking piece.

* - This goes along with the Auto Mag suggestion: A Ruger carbine chambered in .44 AutoMag.

What new guns would you like to see intro'd?

I've been thinking the same thing for the last few weeks. I've made it a habit to go to the range at least a few times a week and just practice with my P22. I kept thinking a .22 Glock would be even better, but I don't want to just buy a .22 conversion kit for my G21. Rather have another gun! :D

I still want a .50 BMG revolver, but I would buy the Glock .22 too.

I want more guns chambered in 5.7x28 so that it would make buying the FN Five-seveN (sic) and the FN PS90 more cost effective.

I want a Sig Sauer smaller than a P239 that doesn't weigh a ton. That's not to say that I don't enjoy my Sig, it's just more challenging to carry than my Glock 27 and my Ruger SP101.

Speaking of Rugers, I want to be able to buy a Ruger automatic that doesn't have grips so wide I feel like I'm holding a beer can.

As for Glocks, if they could make magazines for the 27 that carry the advertised amount of ammunition out of the box I'd be much obliged.

Strictly speaking, not all of those guns would be "new" per se, but they would be desirable modifications on the existing models, which is close enough for me.

A 10mm carbine.
A Grendel AK
A XD in 10mm
A SVT replica that wont break the bank
Actually ALL WW2 gun replica's that wont break the bank.

The glock chambered in .22lr would be nice. I too end up taking my Walther P22 to the range everytime I go now. It's just a fun piece to shoot.

Of course we did, but it's still fun every now and then. :)

At least he didn't ask whether 9mm or .45ACP was better!

As to the question:

if Ruger would reintroduce the Police Carbine in a .45ACP version that would take Ruger P-Series mags I'd have the first one available in my local gun store. Maybe the second one too.

Of course if they introduce them I'll probably need a good divorce lawyer too. :)

An afordable rifle that did not look like a couple of steam pipes screwed together.

or

For gun writers to stop talking about $3000 hunting rifles that shoot 1MOA at 100 yards. With there $2000 scopes.

I think I might buy a glock in 22 if they made one.

a short single shot rifle for the .454 casull, maybe from T/C

a new production run of the 1903 from springfield

a bolt action rifle for the 450 bushmaster

more love for the PS90, and the 5.7x28

Hey El Tejon:

Thanks for the link. I found an old "friend", a .45 ACP Uzi. Imagine walking inside the first of 3 layers of walls of the Presidential Palace in Santiago, and coming face-to-muzzle with over 60 of these...serious intimidation factor! Back in 1986, when I lived in Chile, I asked for a tour of the "Moneda". I had to report with my passport, etc, etc, and register. I went and got the application and never went back. I had visions of some soldier with an undisclosed case of whatever tripping out and taking me out. :neener: So what bothered me...simple...someone never taught those fellas to keep your finger off the trigger!!!!!!

Wow thats crazy doc!

As for guns I'd like to see, its a bit strange but i'd like to see more companies come out with the commander length 1911's. I know a lot of them make 4 inches, but that extra quarter of an inch would really make a difference for me.

Thanks for the link El Tejon some nice stuff there, but waaay out of my budget. Someone needs to mass produce them and make them more affordable. Even if....do I dare say it Century were to do so.

a fully auto 1911 (colt)

a assult rifle in 30-06 ( colt or s&w)

a .50bmg fully auto sniper rifle ( a modified barret)

a 12mm sholder fire rifle ( any brand will do)

a fully auto 22 rifle with the same look as a cooey modle 64

a .45cal rugar mkII

and a fully auto .25 cal pistole with a 30round mag :D

Oh alright, I'll play again.

Ruger PC4 that takes Glock .40 magazines.
Ruger 5-shot 4" full lug barrel .44 Mag DA revolver (the new 4" Redhawk is too ugly). Give it the lines of a 4" GP100.

I'd like to see Wlather reintroduce a G-43 replica rifle.

I like to see an affordable BAR made.
