Well, took me a long time to finally figure out what I would get as my first handgun. After shooting a bunch of different pistols, I finally decided on a Glock 19. Got one yesterday and finally got a chance to try it out today. 50 rounds of Wolf 115gr, 50 rounds of Federal American Eagle 115gr and 10 rounds of Hornady Critical defense in a short 15-20 min. Grouping was right around 2-2.5" at 25', not one issue presented itself. I used it as it sat right out of the box with no backstraps installed.

Awesome. best of luck to you. SOunds like you're off to a great start.

I do not perceive a need for more than 3 mags, 2 are for range 1 loaded with the good stuff (hornady 115 criticals).

Unfortunately, I cannot carry every day, I am in and out of town halls all day every day. I do have an el cheapo holster for range and weekend duty though.

To everyone else, ty for the kind words. Only another 300 rounds for break in.

Break in? What's that? Didn't need a break in on my 21. But congrats on the great pistol!

Good gun! One of the best 9mm's ever. I prefer the CZ-75, but that's like comparing a Dodge Ram to a Porsche 911. You could not get a better polymer 9mm. Period.
Great choice!

I have shot a glock 17, 19-23, 26-27 and 34. The 19 and 23 were my favorite, the 26-27 were not. I really disliked the 26 and 27. They might be a bit better with a grip extension though. The next purchases (in order) will be a mossberg 500 and some sort of ar15.
