Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and thought it would be good to introduce myself. I'm Oli and in the UK. I shoot both small bore (.22 calibre) and full bore (.308) competitively. My small bore is 25 - 50 metres and my full bore is anywhere between 100 and 1000 yards.

I now ask you, what do you shoot?

NRA and USAS Air Pistol 60 in the winter. Spring/Summer/Fall I compete in NRA Conventional Pistol (Bullseye) using a 22 and a 45, iron sights for now.

Wish I had enough time for shotgun and rifle shooting sports too. Would like to go on the Camp Perry pilgrimage.

Trap: Remington 870 TB, 30" full, 1972.
Skeet: Remington 1100 SA, 20 ga
Smallbore: CZ455 Varmint, Bushnell 6-24X, Eley Team
Bowling Pin: S&W 686+, Colt 1911/Bomar, Ruger MK II
Cast Bullet Rifle: Ruger 77 Frontier, .308, Lyman 311291 or 1952 M70, 30-06

I shoot mostly for fun, though have done a bit of competition shooting, a sporting clays league, a nra pistol match, and a biathlon. Also do a bit of hunting as time and opportunities present themselves.

I shot a Ruger Red Label 20ga in the clays league, a Browning Buckmark in the pistol match, and a Marlin 60 in the biathlon.

Beretta A300 for ducks and deer.
AK, AR15, Ruger 10/22 (x2 - one for me, heavily modified, and a pink stainless for the wife), Springfiled 1911, Remington 700 for fun. EDIT: and a Ruger Single Six convertible on the way, also for fun, possibly a squirrel hunt at some point.

I've been known to shoot trap on occasion.
When I get out of school and I'm not working 40+ and taking 15 credit hours a semester I hope I have some free time because I'd love to try IDPA.

IDPA style matches - XDM Compact 9mm
50 yd smallbore - Savage Mark II
Hoping to try the local range's 200 yd "varmint" match this year with my heavy AR15.

I'm Oli and in the UK.

Please pardon my ignorance but I couldn't find what being "Oli" means. Would someone mind enlightening me. Google wasn't much help.

-NRA Conventional Pistol (aka 'Bullseye', similar in some ways to ISSF sport pistol)
-smallbore benchrest (USBR target at 50 yards)
-just starting to do smallbore 3-position rifle

Hey, Oli! Welcome to the site!

I don't do competitive shooting, but I do target shoot and hunt small game (when I get the time for either).

I've several bolt action .22 rifles, a 12 ga shotgun, and three and a half handguns (I'm waiting on one I've ordered to come in). Handgun calibers are .45 acp, 9mm, and .22 WMR.

85% of my shooting is with a shotgun. November through January I am chasing ducks and geese if I can get out of the State. The rest of the yeast finds me either on the skeet field, or in the woods shooting sporting clays. The other 15% is a mix between rifle and pistol shooting, but no competitively.

Long range target with Savage 12LRP in 6.5 Creedmoor.
Short range target with Savage 93 in 22 WMR.
Whitetail deer in winter and hogs and coyote all year with Marlin 308.

Welcome! I shoot IDPA, USPSA/IPSC. I use a Glock 19 or XD-9 sub compact for IDPA and an XDm-9 5.25 for USPSA/IPSC.

I'm new here also, just haven't introduced myself until now. In answer to your question I shoot semi-autos in rifle, shotgun, but mainly handguns. Mostly standard calibers and in my early years did some quick draw. I enjoy pistol shooting above all, it keeps me trained and aware. God bless our 2nd. Amendment. Be safe out there and always watch your back.
