Hello. I received a set of KSD rosewood grips for my CZ 83 for Christmas and just got around to installing them. The safety notches needed to be thinned with a file to allow the safety to go into the "off" position, but otherwise the fit is pretty good. I like the look, and they feel comfortable. Enjoy the pictures!

Those are some great looking Rosewood grips on your CZ 83! I especially like the fish scale pattern on it instead of the usual checkering.

I'm glad yours worked well! I bought a set for my PPK and the "nut" that the screw threads into was installed off kilter making installation impossible. I carefully pushed it out and installed it straight but didn't support the grip properly during the process of pushing the nut back into its recess and broke it.

The provided grip screw is also way too long and the countersunk recess for the screwhead is drilled too deep--you can literally see light through the wood around the countersink it's so thin. I have a hard time believing it will hold up to any use.

Anyway, I got frustrated and put them aside for now.

I fix a boo-boo like that with a piece of masking tape and a drop or two of epoxy. Then re-drill the hole to screw size and use a DeWalt pilot point bit to countersink the hole.
