Just received this email message from Lee

Dear Lee Customers,

Here we are, end of the month August 31st. I have some great news to share, after much delay, a limited number of the Six Pack progressive presses are available. Unfortunately, the steel press base was dented and battered during the pre-plating process (see attached photo). The tools are all dimensionally correct and function perfectly. You signed up to be notified on the new Six Pack, and we would like to offer these less than perfect presses to you at a 40% discount. The supply is limited to just 72 presses. One per customer, first come, first served.

Please don’t take us up on this offer if you aren’t able to use the press immediately because of a shortage of time or reloading components, we really want these first presses to see a good workout.

Please reply with the state you reside in and the size you wish to order, and we’ll send you the link to place your order.

Is that 40% off of their list price of $500.00. That makes it cost $300.00.
If it is 40% off of the $360.00 that Titan is going to sell them for which would be $216.00, that would be worth it.
If its 40% off of $500.00 is only $60.00 less than what Titan's will sell a new one for once they get them.
Wonder what they mean by beat up base?
Not marked up but beat up.
I can see Titan's or Midway putting them on sale at some point for less than $300.00 for a new one anyways.
Not enough incentive for me to bite.

Tightgroup Tiger makes some good points above about cost. MidwayUSA won’t be selling this press at retail. I already own Lee dies so in effect I would be paying for something I don’t need.- I want to see what the cost will be and then if it’s reasonable ask if they will delete the dies.

It looks like they have just the press and then of course the kit??
Wonder what the price for the kit, don't need dies.
I think I can live without it,:)

Apparently these "beat up base" presses are the complete Pro 6000 kits with MSRP of $500 (MSRP $350 just for the press). So my order with 40% off MSRP and addition of $35 9mm shellplate/tax/shipping came out to just under $400.

Looking forward to you doing one of your thorough reviews. I do all my pistol reloading on my LCT. If these work well I would most likely get one in 9mm.
