Howdy Keith.

I'm not an old timer, but I like old guns. Pretty much like them all. You're right about about it being a lifestyle. Just like hotrod cars are to some, guns are to me and many.

Welcome okie ruger shooter! We love Okies, Rugers and shooters so you should feel right at home. Lots of old timers here, but many new folks with new ways too. Our sport needs broad support, and we are encouraged to see shiny new faces among the grizzled old ones. There is a lot of experience here and sharing it helps everyone. Thanks for the introduction!

Welcome, David! Thanks for signing on. We look forward to having you with us and adding your wisdom to the community. It's a friendly bunch and I hope you will feel right at home.

Howdy folks!
My name's Kyle. I'm a pistol guy and an avid reloader. I reload for rifle, pistol, and fictional. Really it is the technical side of the field that interests me.
I'm also an engineer, working as an instructor a researcher and UConn. Glad to meet you all!

Welcome to THR, RougeLeader1! We're glad to have you! Curious how you reload for fictional :D I hope you will enjoy hanging with a pretty chill bunch who enjoy the shooting sports and hope to learn a thing or two. Thanks for the introduction and don't be bashful. All we ask is that we avoid heated discussion and try to think before posting. I don't think that will be a problem for you--you seem to have the tools to express yourself without flying off the handle :) Enjoy!

Thank you for the welcome Rust Collector! I love the username.
Fictional is a fun category. My father and I have an ongoing competition to form rounds for 'rifles that should have been'. I'm winning with a self contained railgun round. Impractical, ineffective, but still functional and fun!
Perfect, I love learning and hate yelling. Hope to see you in the forums!

Hello, I'm new to the forum. Thanks for having me. I'm former Army, retired Los Angeles Sheriff's Deputy, NRA Training Counselor, NRA Chief Range Safety Officer and a few other things, lol.
I started reloading about 2.5 years ago and still am absorbing info. Just recently getting into creating Precision rounds that work in my long guns. I've done thousands of 9mm rounds.
Shooting passions are tactical shooting for both pistol and rifle and about 6 months into long range precision shooting.

W/Vickers1838, glad you came to visit and decided to stay. Sounds like you know your way around the shooting game, so we will be happy to benefit from your experience. I am spending too much time on the web too, but ain't life grand? Anyway, thanks for the intro and carry on!

Welcome, snowskijunky. There was a time I was a waterskijunky, but not so much these days. I am more likely to be fishing from a boat instead of skiing behind it. Still, we are tickled to have you with us and look forward to swapping stories and useful information. Thanks for the intro and I hope you enjoy your association with us.

Welcome, ZPAP17. I enjoy my PAP 92, but I don't get out to shoot it near often enough these days. The shooting sports are what bring us together, and mutual respect and civility are some of the unique features of our group. We look forward to a mutually rewarding affiliation. Look around and get comfortable.

Hello everyone. I am new here. Been shooting for 50 years with competitive experience in Bullseye and IMHSA. Many years of success, locally, regionally and Internationally in Silhouette and was on the Troy, NY Pistol League traveling team in the nineties. I only shoot paper and for accuracy now with lever guns and AR's and 1911's and SAA revolvers. I escaped NY about three years ago and now live in freedomland AKA Florida. Thanks for letting me in.

Pleased to meet you, BRatigan! There is a lot going on here and our members define us. Please be kind and pitch in where you can be of assistance. You may learn a few things too. Thanks for the introduction and I hope you enjoy yourself among kindred spirits here.
