Newbie here. I shoot rifle and pistol, and until recently I have reloaded only for large rifle and 38/357. The prices at walmart were too good to reload for 45acp, 223, and 9mm.

That changed this year.

The tumbler is running as I type, and I just loaded up the powder and set charge weight on the dillon.

Hello I am a soldier currently in Iraq. No I'm not special forces, I'm Signal Corp. I dont get to do anything too glamourous but I do have regular internet access seeing its my job to make sure it works. I'm on the tail end of a 15 month tour. Been saving up quite a bit of money over here and will finally be able to buy most of the firearms I've been dreaming about once I get back. I dont hunt but have a CCL in Washington state and am into defensive and combat style firearms. Been lurking here awhile, about time said hello.

Me and my wife just got our carry permits. I carry a S&W 6906 9mm or my S&W airweight 38special,and my wife sports a springfield xd 9mm subcompact. We are taking some advanced shooting classes so my wife will be comfortable carrying. If anybody knows if the 15 round mag from a 5906 will work in my 6906 I would like to know,3 extra rounds would be nice.

Ross here from VT, have been looking around for a while now and decided to start chiming in with my two cents! Avid hunter up here in VT, what else would I do up here? Big into U.S. military arms and am accumulating quite the collection. Been to Iraq and Afghanistan...got to shoot alot in both places.

Colt 1911A1 serial # 16xxx (grandfather's in WWI and it still shoots straight!)
Glock 17

My hobbies are shooting, camping, collecting stuff I probably will never use or sell and gunsmithing. I have been collecting older military rifles for some time now. I am a mechanic at an airline. I have a great wife and two great daughters.

Hi from Missouri

I have been reading many of the forums here for some time. Just never got around to posting anything. Lots of good people here and an amazing site, keeping up to date with current firearm news and events. Definately on a high road as firearm forums go in my opinion. Thanks to all. chig

Hello everyone,

I have been lurking here for a few months but did not sign up until recently. I found THR when I was researching carry laws. Both my wife and I have our CCWs. She carries a SigPro SP2022 while I have a Sig P226R. I fired many an M16, GPMG and other guns when I was in the Singapore army but that was over 20 years ago. We now live in Minnesota and look forward to becoming active in the gun community.

Hi, my name is __________ and I have an addiction to guns, when ever I go in to a gun shop I always leave with a gun in DROS(I'm in Ca. and that is our clearing house). In the last year I've bought 10 new handguns and done 8 PPT's.
No I do not want to be cured, I want to be able to buy them like they do in the free parts of the continent. Please send me money to buy more, I promise to share, really.

Any way glad to be here looks like a lot of like minded folks, lets keep it rollin'.

Howzit...New Member here

Hello Everybody,
I stumbled onto this site by mistake and Man, am I glad. Very cool stuff.
I am just a simple man who loves to Shoot, Surf, Practice Martial Arts and spend time trying to raise a family.
I load all my rounds, with the exception of shotgun shell but I may look into it in the future. I like to practice with my bow as well but as I have edged to the better part of my 30's, time seems to be my most valueable commodity because I just don't have enough of it. Once I can figure out how, I will post pics of my loading bench, very humble, only 4 presses, a couple of single stage and a couple of progressive...

Anyhow... I like it here.

Have a good one.

Tony

Hey Guys,

I'm from California as well. I'm 26 and was raised around guns. I enjoyed guns the most till like 2004. Since 2004 I have not been able to enjoy them as much. For events and crisis out of my control, guns were put on hold. I been doing some shooting as of late.

Firearms that I own

70 Series Colt National Match-Blue
Colt 38 Super 80 Series-Blue
Colt 45 80 Series-Blue
Springfield 38 Super-Nickel
Springfield 38 Super-Parkerize
RIA 38 Super
Rossi 357 Magnum
SW M29

I also own a couple long arms. I screwed up the bolt assembly of my Savage 111 rifle. That was my debut thread here. So if you could help out, I would appreciate it.

Don't know what else to say, see ya around.

Hello,
very happy to have the resource available. I joined awhile back but have to date only used the site as a reference tool.
Handguns. Lot's of handguns over the years. I find myself now spending more time looking to replace the guns I sold or traded away over the years. This is proving more and more diffcult here in California as I have not found a consistent way to find a great many guns for ppt or on consignment. I can think of a dozen right now I'd buy if I could find them.
Don't let this happen in your state!
Recently I have become intersted in
nice bolt action 22 rifles and having the guns I own lightly customized.

New to this form

From Ontario Can. love single shot rifles and in 50years have own quit a lot.for shooting paper or just for hunting nothing like a Peebody or martini or a high wall or a good rolling block

Just joined. Been lurking awhile though. It's been very educational reading about everyones experiences.

Live in NW Ohio and don't tell anyone what guns I have. US Navy Submarine vet 1978-84.

Hey folks, I've been a guest on here awhile without posting but wanted to introduce myself. I'm not a gun owner yet, since I'm only a high school senior in a non-gun-owning family. Always nice to see people with class on the Internet.

Sayin hi from the Alamo City!

Noob here! I've been lurking a while and finally decided to post. It's nice o find a place where the RKBA is discussed with an open mind as to different peoples opinions, especially social and political :). Some of the other forums, while there is a wealth of technical information to be found on this or that gun, if you are not a hardcore right-winger you can find the climate downright hostile:mad:!
