I think I've posted here before but thought I'd say hey on this thread. I'm from CA but currently go to school / live in Oregon, better laws :)

New to this forum. My neighbor has a Firearms Intl 380 auto compact pistol made by Star and imported here. He brought it to me for cleaning, and I got the slide off and such, but could not figure how to get the spring guide and spring and barrel out of the slide. Anyone out there got one, or an FI Model D, wich is a slightly larger version of the same gun?

Hello all. I've been applying for OCS for a year now and despite repeated delays I now expect to be admitted and will become an Officer of Marines in August following OCC-201.

I dig western revolvers, lever-action rifles, and any weapon with significant military history. I think General Longstreet was one of the wisest field commanders since the invention of the firearm.

While I tend to put on a tin foil hat from time to time, only do so for two reasons: 1) "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he doesn't exist." is not just a catchy line from a movie. It is a warning. 2) Repeatedly my ancestors fled as their own governments and neighbors enslaved, stole from, and slaughtered them. I trust God. Everyone else has to pay in cash.

Hope this wasn't too negative. I'm usually a nice guy.

Hi, I'm a new member. I just recently became interested in collecting guns. I currently am a concelled carry permit holder and really like my Taurus 24/7 Pro 9mm. I have a variety of rifles, including a Remington 30-06, Norinco SKS, and Romainian AK-47. I also have a Mossberg 12 guage pump. Currently I am looking for good deals on Ammo for the SKS and AK-47, but I am always looking for new guns to add to my collection.

Boy Scout Motto "Be Prepared"

Hello All!! I am new to this site and relatively new to guns in general.. Shot a rifle in Boot camp for the Navy and also learned to shoot and field strip a Government 45. (Training for Courier Duty) Ocassional bouts with shooting over the years. Recent National events have made it clear to me that I need to be a full time gun owner and a member of the NRA. First Handgun purchase was a Taurus Model 608 (Large Frame) .357 Magnum Revolver with a ported 4" barrel in Stainless Steel, 8 shot. Next purchase will most likely be a 12 gauge shotgun . This is a great site, many nice, knowledgable people. Looking forward to hanging out here on a regular basis.

Hello, my name is Michael. I'm a relative newbie to guns compared to others on this thread, since the highest caliber gun I have is a .177 Crosman Mark II target pistol form the 1980's. Maybe I'll get an answer here on how to fix the o-rings on it.:) Anyways I'm eighteen, live in the Chicagoland,:barf: and have been a lurker in the forums for a while now. And I hope to start contributing to The High Road.

Dallas area Newbie

I decided to join this forum because my google searches usually turned up replies posted on this site. I own a number of different firearms and very much believe in protecting that right as I am a lawful citizen of these United States. Figured that y'all are like minded, so I thought I'd take a dip and test the waters here.

Hi to all

I just signed up after most of my gun research on Google ended up on this site. I have a SW Sigma (that I love). I just mailed in my info for my CCW and hopefully I will be carrying sometime this month.
Heres a pic of my left hand man :)

welcome

I did the same thing -- I joined after I kept ending up here while doing research on a gun safe. The wealth of knowledge here is unbelievable.

Hi All,

newbie to the forum here.. have started taking arms seriously over the past few months.. like a LOT of people.. :) enjoying adding to my small collection and going to the range a lot more often..

Intro

Hello. Tom here. I live in SC, don't hunt much any more. Lately, I have been doing a lot of target shooting with air rifles. Law abiding, God fearing, and CWP registered. I am interested in possibly acquiring another handgun

I can post this elsewhere in the forum if appropriate, but, can someone give me the current value of a like-new Ruger P95DC 9mm, in the original plastic case, w/ 2 x 10 round and 2 x 15 round mags. Asking price $300. Seems reasonable.

Thanks.

New member

Hey y'all. I'm David. Live just outside Dallas. Been shooting most of my life. Love to shoot, but don't hunt. I have a weak stomach and can't clean. Don't believe in having someone else clean what I kill. Bought my first pistol about 3 yrs ago. Glock 23, then Rossi snub 357, followed with Taurus Millenium Pro PT145. Got my CHL last year. Carry the Glock or Taurus. Shoulder holstered. Couldn't stand the hip or belt holsters. Have a Win. '94 in 30-30. Won it in a raffle 3 months before Win. stopped manufacturing. New in box. Never fired. Will stay that way. Have an old .22 tube feed semi auto and picked up a Mossberg Plinkster at Christmas. Just got a Lee-Enfield #1 Mk III* a few weeks ago. Sporterized, should be fun to shoot. Finally found some reasonably priced ammo. Found this website from researching about the Enfield. Recommended by "pointman". On the way to intrducing myself, I replied to smoeone looking for a .357 snub. Looks like a great website. Look forward to participating.

Thanks

Hello All,

My name is William, I'm from Kansas. I finally registered, though I've been directed here from Google searches several times. I look forward to using this forum, it seems quite good.

I'm interested in pretty much all types of guns, though I'm on a bit of a pistol (I love my new Walther P22's that I recently got) and AK kick at the moment though. I don't have an AK-47, just an SKS, but I'm looking to get one soon.

I like to target shoot and hunt, though I don't get to do as much hunting as I would like do to back problems :(

I have owned and been around guns my whole life (course I'm only 24...), though my interest has went from casual to very serious lately. I'm aspiring to be a gun smith, which will hopefully work out because there are very few around my area. I have some questions on that topic, but that's for a different thread.

Well, I suppose I've wasted enough space here, so hello and goodbye. ;)

Hi all

Hi everybody, I' Michael from the Chicago suburbs.

I own:
Kimber 1911 Warrior
Sig Sauer P220
Beretta 96 Brigadier
Sig 556

Looking to by a Benelli Supernova Tactical once I can find one in stock.

Bugger, I must've somehow missed this one right up there with all the other stickies. My name is Ben, I live in Queensland, Australia, but originally hail from Victoria. I've been target shooting with pistols for about 2 years and picked up rifle shooting in earnest about 9 months ago, my only other experiences with firearms have been hunting in my early teens on my grandparents' farm.

Greeting,
US Army Veteran, 12 Years, Just got my first AK and enjoying the heck out of it. I love shooting, just don't get to do as much as I want to. But I do live in Memphis and people ask me why I carry a weapon. I say read the paper and then ask me. One of my beliefs are every home should be required to own a gun and know how to use it.

I have acquired a Walther PP 32 cal. Serial # 354032 P. It does not have a mark of any kind on the barrel. I think this was brought from Germany after WWII. Maybe be wrong, the fellow that had it served all his military time in Germany and attended the Nuremberg Trials. To say the least he was a very brave and wise soul.

Hello, my screen name is Randy1911. I am a new member but I have been shooting just about all of my life. I have been reloading for over 26 years. I only shoot pistol anymore, because I am disabled. I call myself the cartoon Speedy Gonsonlzes consin Slowpoke, I might be slow but I carry a big gun. I'll proably be hanging out in the reloaoding section the most.

Hello all.

I've been looking for a good active firearm's forum for a while (Downtime at work, need something to read) and i just stumbled here. Looks like a lot of good posters here.

I live in Massachussetts, and i just started getting into the sport. I bought my first and only pistol this past year, a .22 Ruger Mark III, which i put a Bushnel red dot sight on. I basically fell in love with it. I love pinging plates with it at 100 ft. Accurate as hell.

Since then I've gone out with a group of friends every once in a while. I've been shooting Moson Nagants, SKS's, Mossburg 500 Shot guns, and I've decided that I'm getting more and more interested in rifles and shot guns (Want a 9mm for CCW eventually as well). I'm hoping to see some good reviews on some things I've interested in. I Have a lot to learn.

New to forum

Hello ladies and gentlemen.

Fifty odd years since I first fired a gun. I have owned at least a couple since that time. I prefer 45 handguns and like the 40 cal, as well as the 10mm. I have 22s, 38s, 357s, 44 mag and SS T/C along with 45s. I also have rifles and shotguns but not as many. I had never had an interest in military arms until last year. I now would like to acquire an AK or one of the bull pup designs. CCH holder and instructor. Dinero is very limited so I can't get most of what I would like to have.

Be prepared to take care of yourself because the police are not required to protect the individual. Not meant to insult police. They can't be there every time they are needed.
