Hi, new member and found this sight just to tell everyone that enjoys shooting long guns that there is now a FINE shooting $300 Combo .308 and Dick's. I am totally amazed at this Whitetail Lightning rifle. My favorite was and is still high in the ranks a CZ bull barrel. Just a smiggen too expensive.

Hello

Hi,I'm into hunting/target shooting and collecting guns. I love 45s and have 3 of them, a coltish 1911 a1, a kember stainless target and a kember ultra 10 2. Also, I just bought my first M1A, it is a SA receiver with all GI NM parts. My dream gun would be a minty 1903a3.

Hi everyone I new to this sit . I'm also doing this threw a celphone ,and have realy bad spelling. Anyways I'm mostly into hunting and sket

Hi, I'm a law student in New York City, and am a fairly lonely second amendment supporter here. I grew up in upstate New York, where people aren't quite so hostile to guns, but I never learned how to shoot. Now that I'm down here I've become more intensely aware of that lack. I've come to feel that it is my duty to learn how to operate firearms and to speak up on gun rights. Is there anyone here from New York City who could help me out?
Welcome Hawk, I am an avid shooter and NYC transplant in Virginia. I discovered guns here. Its not half bad. I have since embraced a lot of the culture down here and seen the light.:D

Hey all.

I'm not too new here, but way newer than some people. I stumbled upon this site while googling pictures of guns, and while looking at the pictures, I got hooked on reading the different threads and posts.
A little background: My name is Nick, I live in Iowa. I've been into shooting my whole life. My dad was a patrolman in Iowa for 4 years, and then an undercover narcotics investigator for 6 years after that all the while serving as a certified ATF firearms instructor, and he always taught me the importance of firearm safety.
Firearms I own: Ruger Blackhawk new model convertible in .45LC/ .45ACP, EAA witness Elite Match in .45ACP, Glock 22, Beretta 92FS, Remington 870 Express Magnum, Winchester 94AE .30-30, NEF Pardner single shot 20 ga, DPMS AR-15 lower I built (still need an upper)
Why I'm here: Just another gun nut trying to relate to other shooters/ gun owners and learn as much as I can about firearms in the process.

Glad to be here,
-Nick

Hello all,
I've been reading the site for quite some time and figured I'd better get around to signing up. Apologies to anyone else who's got a variant of "slim pickens" for their user name, but in my defence it was my nickname as a kid and is my username on a couple other firearms forums I'm on. The "67" refers to the number of the French department I live in, the Bas-Rhin, which is part of Alsace.
Originally I hail from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada just a hop skip and a jump from Montana. Lots of opportunities to shoot at gophers, and like a lot of kids I first learned to shoot on the family farm with my dad's 10/22.
Recently I've started shooting again and am currently the proud owner of a CZ 452 varmint .22lr and a CZ 75B 9mm.
I look forward to talking to you in the forums!

NY Mountain guy, here..

NRA Certified instructor for, oh, a lot of years and lifetime hunter, sportsman.
Guns? I think about them like I do women.. a man should have at least one of each and as many as he can afford.;)
I lived in TN for a while, LI NY for a while, but could not leave this country life, so I bought a farm, put in a 600 yd range and am just enjoying it to no end.
I tinker a bit; just put XS-24/7 sights on all my Glocks and an Aimpoint on my CX-4 .45ACP carbine.
I also do a lot of phoning and writing to our congress members.. :cuss:

I'm new to this and I am not very computer literate so I may screw up on occasion. I live and play in the northwest. Enjoy shooting when I can find the time, joined a local shooting club so I would have access to a range.
I have used the forums to gain info for my personal firearm needs but mostly I have noticed that there are a lot of like-minded folks out there, that gives me a feeling that things could and will turn around. I guess we have been busy doing the right things, raising families, working for a living, paying excessive taxes and minding our own business, unfortunatly this has allowed the lberals to slowly get control and threaten our rights. I guess we'd better pay attention for awhile, get things strightend out, then we can go back to doing the right things.

Hi All,
My self briansmith. I am new here. I am a big fan of all type of guns. I like to read comic books, playing games and music. I am pretty much jokeing 100% of the time.

Greetings all, I have been lurking for maybe two months, and figured I would go ahead and register since I don't have much to do between no and 4 a.m. when I had to Walmart to pick up a new TV. Black Friday crowds are a blast to deal with.

I live in Texas obviously, and enjoy my guns. :)

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum but have been into firearms and hunting since 1960. Lost interest for a few years but, like a true friend, the sport took me back. Live in Northern California, near to Tahoe, in an area of enthusiasts, not in Pelosi country, thank God. Retirement, if it happens, will be in a gun friendly state.

I reload all but shotguns. I'm beginning IDPA. Just bought a couple of Glocks, a 30 (not sf) and a 26. Favorite gun is still a Colt Python 6" bbl. That's about it.

Hi! My name is Fred. I learned to shoot from my Grandfather, and I'm passing a love of shooting to my kids. Favorite guns: Winchester Model 52 made in 1932, S+W 41 7" target pistol, and M1911A1 (my 12 year-old prefers the SW .38 spec revolver to the kick of the .45). We also like "simple" clay pidgen shooting with an old 20-guage single shot and an old hand thrower.

The Model 52 is missing the rear trigger guard screw. Although it doesn't appear to affect the accuracy of the 52, I hate having a missing part. I haven't had any luck finding this item. I would appreciate any suggestions.

I'm learning how to reload. I just finished my first run of 100 reloads for the .38 spec. I just hope the lead does more than fall out the end of the barrel :):)

Thats all for now. All the best!

Hello All,

I joined up a short while ago as a way to connect with like minded people. I lurked for quite awhile to get a "feel for the place", and liked what I read so decided to stay.

I am middle aged, and a veteren of the USMC. I have been into shooting and hunting since age 6.I was originally from the Midwest and did an exorbinate amount of hunting and just plinking for fun and practice. I now live in San Diego and my children are grown, so I have decided to get back into the shooting sports again. I have a pietta capa and ball 1851 navy replica that I really want to go shooting with, and a variety of other firearms. I started lurking here to learn more about the art of Black Powder shooting. Thanks for the wonderful forums.

Hello everyone, sorta new to gun forums. I've been collecting and shooting firearms for over 35 years. I do my own reloading, and restoration work. I enjoy the history of the old milsurps and I'm not partial to any one kind.

Look forward to sharing what I can and learning what I can.

Hello!

I'm Pete, and I'm from NC. New to the forum (obviously). It's nice to find a place where people aren't too crazy and I can get some decent information. I've been searching and lurking in a few threads, so I finally decided to come out of the shadows and say hey.

I have no guns, but I have shot them before and am planning on buying a pistol soon, as well as getting a concealed permit.

Welp... I guess I will post somewhere now.

Sam

I'm almost new, been here a couple of weeks and have already received some valuable info. I'm from GA, Vietnam Vet 05B4S(Kontum, Plieku 71-72). I have enjoyed shooting all my life and only recently have gotten into auto handguns. I already owned a Blackhawk, Single Six, and several long guns. My newest buy was a S&W MP 40, and I love to shoot it.

Believe in the 2nd Amendment.

Hi,
Just joined the group. I'm Gerry from the Chicago suburbs-worst state in the US for gun owners! Staunch supporter of 2nd amendment rights. Looking to move out west as soon as possible to a gun owner friendly state!
Enjoy handgun target shooting, some trap and skeet as well.
I shoot, 9mm, 38 +P, .45ACP(my favorite round), as well as .223.
Looking to begin reloading, since I like to shoot but don't like the prices of ammo today.
I'll be looking forward to advice on reloading from the members here-e.g. what equipment they like, techniques, etc.
Gerry

Hello from Washington

I only own two guns, one is a captured 8mm Mauser from a German Armory and the other is a Old Pistol with Pearl grips that recently I found out that Billy the Kid and John Wesley Hardin carried. That is why I am on this site. The second Amendment is written in solid stone and shall not be infringed....EVER. RH
