i am new on this forum after spending a lot of hours of reading it.
as you see , my name is edwin and i am 41 years old.
i live in holland , so maybe my spelling is not overall correct , sorry for that.
i currently own a smith & wesson 686 4 " and this is my first firearm .
i use it for target shooting and i also reload for this revolver since recently.
when my permit allows it i like to own a rifle to , really like lever actions and rolling blocks.

Hi. I'm a person. I LOVE hunting and shooting guns.:) I only own 9 guns right now, but i'm gonna get more. The first time i shot a gun was when a was 6 or 7, it was a single shot .22. (I still have that gun) :) and ever since i have had a love for guns :)
 
Hi all - I am Eddie. I grew up in Oregon where I learned to shoot with a daisy air rifle that belonged to my father. Since those pre-teen years (8yrs old) I have grown out of airguns and into bolt action target shooting. I moved to Texas and have joined a local gun club (indoor range - too hot to spend the weekends outside in the heat right now). I miss the longer range of the outdoors and am planning to purchase rural land to continue my work with a longer range targets. With that said, I cannot wait for hunting season to open this year.

Been around military folks all my life, but I was turned down....
So I became a security consultant, just like military without a term commitment...
I prefer handguns; first fired a SW .38 by my grandfather to what I carry now, a Sig P229 for work and safety

i was born and raised in hawaii. been hunting with dog and knife for pigs for a few years. just recently got in to hunting with firearms. the island that i live on we hunt for pig, goat, and deer. i currently own a remington model 4 in 308. and a savage 116 in .270win.

As I google info online, often this site comes up, so I figured I'd join to ask some specifics. I really like the opinions I have read & really enjoy the folks that realize that it is their opinion. Thanx for that guys & gals...

I actually went to a high school in the heart of Cajun country that gave you the opening wednesday of duck season off if you could show your duck stamp. (those were the days) I traveled a good bit throughout my Army days & the years that followed as I am a field I.T. guy. I ended up on the Gulf Coast of Florida where I have raised my family. I coached basketball as a second job for 20 years (not because of the money, but because I was pretty good at it) & taught martial arts for about 7 years.

Since my kids are now older, I have been able to have my own hobbies for about 5 years. I re-discovered hunting after a 20 year hiatus. Presently, I shoot squirrels for pecan orchard farmers with precision airguns. Nope, not like shootin' a 7mm mag, but it is a challenge & it gets me some freebie hunting properties. Believe it or not, I have a fifteen-hundred dollar air rifle. Of course, it just cost $250 if the wife asks...

not a lot of experience with firearms beyond summers in idaho with uncle... looking to learn more about them. (living in canada... firearms ownership not really feasible right now due to absurd taxes. going to move to the us as soon as I get a chance to)

Hi everyone! Glad I discovered this forum. Currently stationed in Hawaii (Oahu). Looking forward to retiring this fall (Navy) and heading to Seattle area. Didn't bring any of my guns with me out here so it's been a while since I've shot other then semi-annual gun quals. Can't wait to get back to the mainland and start shooting regularly again!

New to forum

Hey all, long time lurker, new member, starting a new life!

A year ago tomorrow, my old life ended. I had a motorcycle accident that caused me to be a paraplegic. T11 incomplete, hopes still to regain my feet in this life. I am unable to do some of the things I used to do, but I can still shoot, and collect firearms. I love to shoot, and tinker. I hope to, sometime in the not so distant future, open my own gun shop/store. Thank you all!

ok, so im new to this, i do have an odd question and would like some help. Pops past and left mom a full gun case, in the bottom is a m-2 30 cal carbine, the stock has been cut down as well as the barrel, what can i do with it, we would like to sell it as mom has alot of bills and now her s.s. is even smaller, can some tell me what i can do please, thanx

I am a new (older at 61) member and would like to say have monitored the threads here for a long time and have learned much. I prefer COLT Combat Commanders and have a 70SC Satin Nic and a Series 80 stainless in .45 auto. I also shoot S&W .44 mag extensively as well as TC encore. I live in Ca. and exercise my right to own and shoot here on my farm--at will. One of my favorite long guns is my Ruger SS M77/.22 with a Bushnell 3-9 scope used to dispatch coyotes, actually does a good job.

Good evening all!

I'm not quite sure what to say. I am recently venturing into the world of firearms. I am at a place in my life where it is easy to become extremely overwhelmed with stress and I am looking for a diversion that involves thought, skill, and sometime outdoors. My father is a police officer and has always been a "collector" of sorts and this can provide he and I something to do together and several of my buddies are gun enthusiasts. Some are hunters and some are just shooters, and some just like to shoot the breeze. My spouse and I are also looking at ways to save money and hunting for meat is looking very attractive, given that the price of meat keeps going up at the market. All of that said, I am very much a newcomer and I'm looking to remove some of my ignorance and pick up a new hobby. I appreciate any patience you have to offer and any knowledge you pass along! Thanks.

Been into firearms for a long time, well since I was 6 and got my first .22 pistol. Got into reloading when I was 16 and I spend a lot of my free time either shooting or reloading. Don't collect any certain style or type of weapon, if I see one or someone tells me about one that seems interesting then I just might go out and buy one to take home.
 
Im a pawnbroker by trade, and carry at all times due to the nature of my business. I have a Class A high cap Unrestricted LTC in massachusetts(aka red china) and own a ruger sr9c a ruger lc9 and a smith and wesson bodyguard 380.

I am here because I need help in case that cannot be solved without your assistance.
I am a display replica/ASG replica model maker. Now I am working on Sten Mk II replica that shoulb be presented in the original-like shipment factory box.
From the picture I see that this is corrugated box. But no information on the cover and tags/labels on it. How did they look like. What was the color of the box. These are details that are important from the point of view of realism of whole setup.
If anyone could help me in this matter I will be very grateful.

First things first, As my name states I hail from Great Britain, England to be exact and as such can very sadly not contribute much at all in terms of practical gun ownership, especially in the realms of handguns and home/self defence. This is something that disappoints me and I fully intend to move to the US at some point. However I have not come here to discuss that, I instead seek advice from fellow members on the firearms side of things for a novel as it is a book with a great deal of such stuff in. I have always thought technical detail lends a great deal of colo[/U]r to a book. Thankfully I am not without firearms experience as I shoot .22LR at least once a week for approximately half the year and have shot or will shoot in the near future: 5.56x45, 7.62x51 and 410, 28, 20 & 12 Bore. Hi, My name is Gary and I too am a gunaholic:) LOL I enjoy shooting any gun made and I do reload and enjoy that very much. I enjoy rifle and pistol very much and being able to tailor the cartriges I find is very helpful and I must say that my favorite load manual is Nosler because they show which load is the most accurate and they are usually right on. I used to really enjoy shooting the black powder shoots but can't walk that far because of an injury but I would highly recomend doing it to those that are so inclined as it is a blast. I do my very best to defend our Constitution in keeping up on what is going on. I read Human Events and NewsMax, and listen to Fox news and get our news without propiganda. I also get my news from the NRA and learn a lot from them. Then I filter it and write my Senators and Congressmen and let them know that the Second Ammendment is our God given right and will not be changed to fit their liberal agenda. I hope that I can please talk some of you to do the same because as we well know, the squeky wheel gets the greese. Any way I am so happy to be able to have the chance to be in a group with this much knowledge and like minded people such as yourselves. I will get off of my soap box now and thank you for this awsome forum,
