What's up all!
I have been trolling this site for over a year...started when I was looking for reload bench idea's. Along the way I found lots of other great discussions, etc. Joined last week and shared some pics of my bench. I really appreciate the time that lots of you have put into this site...it has been very helpful. I hope I can represent and help pay that forward at some point!
Ha-ha, someone neglected to inform me that reloading would quickly become a hobby in and of itslef! Not sure if I reload to support my shooting habits or if I shoot to support my reloading habits! I find it relaxing to spend time in my garage, tinkering, errrr, reloading! It's amazing how quickly the minutes become hours. Although, I am driven indoors for about 3 months a year due to the AZ heat. But, lately I have been browsing the 'mobile bench ' idea's for reloading indoors during the heated months.
I started dabbling at reloading a few years ago and just recently drank the RED kool-aid and moved from the Lee Turret Press to a new Hornady LN AP to speed up pistol loads. I kept the Lee press because I can find use for it for rifle loads/single stage, etc. My interest in reloading was originally sparked to support shooting my M44 habit, but quickly grew from there! My wife and I both enjoy plinking/skeet and trap. My wife actually enjoys loading her own 9mm rounds...how cool is that?! It doesn't get much better than that!!!
I am a 10 year US Navy vet (1985-1995).
Reload for 9mm, 45ACP, .30-06, 7.62x54r, 7.62x39 (just becuz it's fun) , 12-gauge and 20-gauge.
