Hello,
I am James E. Davis (jed) and I have just joined the forum.

I have many years of experience with Smith and Wesson products,
Berettas, Glocks, 1911 style pistols, Colt Products.

I like revolvers and semiauto handguns.

When Tuner was in Glock Talk, I learned much about the 1911 and still would like to know more. I did not join GT was a lurker only. When Tuner and other knowledgable men left that forum, it ceased to interest me.

I have been a chemist now for 34 years and the field has grown quite stale.

Outside interests, are beginning to replace my professional interest and retirement as a chemist is getting closer daily.

I am looking forward to more learning.

Thanks for the welcome. I sorta fell into chemistry as a profession.
I have done some teaching of it, but no more. This is truly a dead end profession.

I was a commissioned Army officer and there became highly interested in the 1911 handguns.
