I use a plastic Plano #833 tackle box purchased from the local X-mart about 18 years ago. Holds almost all I need. Other necessary stuff (cylinder loader, flasks, towels, extra balls, etc.) is transported in a plastic "ammo" box.

One time I weighed the tackle box just for fun. It tipped the scales at 20 pounds! But then I tend to pack lots of stuff I don't really need...... until I leave it at home of course!:cuss::banghead:

People in the N-SSA have been using varients of the above for over 10 years. This is just Stanley's version.

Yep. Plano tackle box, plus a couple of canvas bags. Just bought Midway's Competition Range Bag and I'm slowly transferring things into that as I figure out how many pockets and cubbyholes there are. The damn thing's like an SUV with cupholders everywhere.

I use a black plastic Plano Drybox for my cap and ball stuff. I use a wooden Barrett ammo crate for .50 ammo and put a set of hinges on it for my other BP stuff. I use a bright orange drybox for my molds and reloading dies and an old GI footlocker for my casting stuff.

So much stuff so little room. I got four canvas bags when i go to the range.
One for the .50 pistol ,the .44 revolvers, the .50 hawken.
,and a bag for the smokless stuff.Thank God for child labor . I have my son carry it all to and fron the car. But at a price ,he has to shoot all the guns first.

Not a bad rig for 20 samolians! I've been using .50 cal. ammo cans for years and finally graduated to a MTM case. Gonna stop in and take a gander at Lowes today. Thanks for the tip!:)

i bought one at wal-mart several months ago.was able to put all my range gear in it.very handy, but the snapon bags that i had used are now filled with more crap to take to the range.it seems every time i go out there i have more stuff with me.

I've been using a Steel Carry-Case which originaly came with a Sawzall...

At some point, I will line it with Felt, re-paint it, and make it nicer, but, so far, very happy with it.

Holds one Gragoon, and all the goodies for it, with no crowding.

Steel tool box with lift out tray and one or more 5 gallon buckets and various gun cases.

Hee hee, :D

For a lot more $$, these similar Kobalt and Stanley doohickeys are larger/roomier, both at Lowe's - I looked at these, too, before deciding on the cheapie - but they are cool:

Even the largest tackle boxes weren't quite big enough for my ML components (bullets espec.)

I just don't know how them old timey hunters and trappers got all that equipment up and down them mountains back in the shinin' times.

I guess I'm just lazy.:D
