New one on the way

I have ordered for arrival this week a S&W Shield, .45acp with the safety and three dot sights. Seem to get great reviews on the Shield and those of us who like the .45 seem to be tickled pink with it. I'll report on it later.

Any comments from owners or others quite welcome.

I just got one last week. While not un-controllable, it is a handful! My only problem was the edge of the slide lock dug into my thumb on recoil. I rounded it off with a file, and it's better. Definitely not an all day range gun for me, but that's not its purpose!
