Double check that they are boxer primed before you go crazy. I have seen brass berdan primed 7.62x39 with that headstamp.

No experience with these.
Back in the 1980's, I had a 6.5x55mm Swede. The cheapest and most available ammunition I found was in boxed marked "Hanson". However, the rounds had a head stamp of "nny". That of course proved to be the Cyrillic equivalent of "PPU". Forward about twenty winters or so and I found PPU to make several 'odd' rounds, including 6.5x55MM, 8mm Lebel, and others. The 1980 vintage ammunition and the current crop are ALL Boxer primed. (No doubt they make the Berdan primed stuff for certain markets, but I've never seen any.)

I haven't seen the "Hanson" brand for years now. Go figure.

I once had a lot of Hanson branded 6.5x55 ammo made by PPU. I think Hanson was just a company that imported it under their name. They had a good selection of cartridges that were not considered "mainstream" on this side of the pond. Started reloading 6.5x55 about 1995 and used that once fired Hanson brass with the "nny" on the head stamp. That was when I discovered that it's good quality brass. This thread got me to dig out some PPU 6.5x55 that was purchased in Feb. 1993 ( still had the receipt in the ammo box) and distributed by Century Arms. IMG_1264.JPG , and that "nny" headstamp... IMG_1265.JPG . Over the years PPU has sure helped out folks needing ammo that is not commonly available here, for their Carcano's, Mosin's, and various Mauser chamberings, among others. Recently started reloading 7x57 Mauser again after a few years of ignoring it and discovered I still have some 7x57 brass with that "nny" head stamp left over from the late 1990's - early 2000's. Was glad to see that "nny" on there so I knew I had good brass.
