It'll be a couple weeks before I can work it into the range rotation, along with the Winoku '73.
I'll update when I get there.

How it shoots is the real seal of approval.

Let's see if Remlin botched it.

I pray they did not. I thought this day would never come... just silently praying they are worthy.

Denis, did you get an advance copy or has the factory already sent some out to distributors?

Supposed to be little of both.
Early copy, but I understand they're supposed to be shipping.

Look forward to pics. While your waiting for range time I,d sit and cycle the action a couple 100 time while watching TV to smooth things up. Preferably watching The Rifleman or other western.

I am interested in these. Thanks for the report.

As to the crooked sights thing, yes it has happened, but the only Marlin I have ever owned with crooked sights I bought new in 1978. The rear one went left, the front one right and yet somehow it shot straight. After suffering many a Marlin jam I loaned it away to my brother. Years later I had it fixed but it was and is a beater rifle. The straightest Marlin I have ever owned, I just bought, a REP stamp 336SS.

I have an 1894c. Bought it new several years ago, came with many problems... Bent mag tube, cracked forearm, excessive headspace... After a couple trips to the factory the firing pin fell out, so I swapped it for a one piece FP.

Since then it's been a very good gun. I love it.

The rear sight appears just the tiniest bit off to the right to me if I deliberately line up the sights & look to see if the top of the receiver is parallel to the ground, but my gunsmith says everything's on straight.
That's why I have him mount my scopes & align the crosshairs, I have a canted eyeball. :)

If I just shoulder the gun & look through the sights, the only problem I find is that the brass bead could be bigger.

I may try the TV cycling. :)

These little 94s are almost as good a woods totin' gun as the Win 92.

The "tree fiddy seven mangle' em" gets wicked numbers from a rifle bbl.

    Should make an ideal blaster.

    If it works.

DPris, I didn't think they'd actually get into production with Remlin's current financial state. Which version did you get, C or CB, and which State are you located in? I've got a Rossi 92 in same caliber but it's not very reliable., I'd like something better, but not willing to spend $1K for Winchester or an Italian clone. Been looking at Henry Big Boy, but may consider the Marlin if the build quality is up to snuff. It may be a while before they start showing up here in the Peoples Republic of Cali. Looking forward to your range report!

Can you even buy something as frightening as that in california? What with the high capacity clipa-tuba-zine and rapid fire fully-semi-elbow operated action? Surely that is classified just as dangerous as a belt fed machine gun and lead fishing sinkers?

Hah! Well, at least for the time being. If it even looks scarrrry, it must be banned! Someone should
come out with a lever action AR platform. The knucklehead legislators wouldn't know what to do!
Oh yeah, it's so bad here that Starbucks has to post warning signs that coffee might cause cancer!

    Congrats,hope she's a shooter!

I've wanted one of these for a long time. My father has a JM stamped one. It's my top pick from his collection right next to his Remington model 81 in 300 savage, pre 64 mod 94, and 41 mag sbhh. I told my brother he can have the other 30 guns. Its a running joke with my dad saying I'm slowly poisoning him so I can claim the guns ,and tools . We have a sick sense of humor.

It always amazes me when I shoot mine that .357 Magnum loads could produce almost no felt recoil. I don't shoot .38 Specials in it because the POI is so different that it is not worthwhile...
