I bought this a few months ago and never posted photos. I paid more than I should but I was able to hand pick the best of three rifles. Hopefully I will get to shoot it tomorrow..........:D

I have one. I pretty much think its my favorite rifle now.

Really fun to shoot it.

I got to shoot one of these a few weeks ago. After I removed the loose scope it was an awesome gun and a great shooter. Whatcha think of that offset scope?

Incredibly rugged, military grade unit with very good glass. I like it a lot but wish it was a 8x instead of 4x.

You have to slide the scope on from the back. If you slide it on from the front, it'll loosen after a few shots.

You can also adjust the throw lever it it doesn't tighten up enough.

I wonder if a Krebs Rail or Texas Weapon Systems rail would fit on one of these?
While the PSL is almost identical to an AK in function and design, few parts are interchangeable. Almost everything on the rifle is stretched to accommodate the longer 7.62x54R round.

The top cover is longer on the PSL than the AK, so those sight/rail upgrades would not fit. If Krebs or TWS would make a stretched version it likely would though.

Take a look at the slings this guy makes. They look pretty nice and he has OD green.
Thanks for the link! That's exactly what I'm looking for.

And yeah, I learned all about the AK/SVD mounts a while ago.
The Hard way.
Ah, the old school of hard knocks. I've attended there once or twice. Expensive but quality education.

Congrats-- I know its not "match grade" or whatever--(its what a friend told me when I was looking for one), but I love the round, and the look-- I would buy it because I liked it-- period.

If your purchase made you happy, then screw the price and what others think!

COol looking rifle-- enjoy it!

Yeah, a former coworker found a good deal on .45 for me a year ago-- it was .45, but....

I have an XD.45 ACP, not GAP-- I felt bad, so paid him what he spent, I got sort of luck about a month or so later-- my dad's friend and neighbor bout all 500 rounds for about what I paid, and gave me a few boxes of .410 reloads and an AK mag...

all wen t well in the end! 8*)
