I just got a new email from www.SIGsauer.com . They are offering a new range bag & 02/two new pistol magazines with each new pistol purchase; 06/15/2014 to 08/15/2014. The rebate offer must be post-marked by 08/23/2014.
The details are on the SIG website. Like the "buy one, get one" .22LR pistol mess, this SIG Sauer offer is subject to change.

If you like SIGs, have the $$$ & want or need a new carry gun, check it out.
2 free pistol mags & a good range bag can come in handy. I just ordered a new 5.11 DE silver gray pistol case. :D

It'd be nice if I can find a SIG P226 SAO during that time window, range bags I've plenty of, but can never have too many magazines :)

If you were in the market for a new pistol that's a heck of a deal. Sig magazines aren't cheap. I bought the SP2022 and it only came with one. I believe I paid $45 for the second.
That's over $125 of freebies thrown in.

I guess...

It looks like SIG Sauer wants to sell some guns. :D

Let's all hope it's not a stupendous train wreck like the "1911 buy one/get a free .22LR" offer.

I saw a nice TDA(traditional double action) P226R 9x19mm for about $640.00 with free S/H. That 9mm would be great for the SIG rebate offer but I don't have the $$$ & Id want to get it switched to DAK for duty uses. It's a good deal for a match or casual target shooter. ;)

I like SIG guns and have 4 of them. I received 2 mags with each years ago, and now they only ship one with a new gun. For the price of their pistols, they should quit playing this game . They are a better company than that, and just cheapens them. My grandson just bought a new SIG SP2022 and it came with one mag. After he registered the gun he got a call from sig thanking him for his purchase and then wanted to sell him another mag . SIG has gone down in my opinion as much as I like their guns. My 2 cents.. Snoop

I just bought a new Sphinx SDP 9mm compact pistol and it came with 3 mags, a loader, and cleaning kit, for the price of $875. After shooting this pistol here at my farm range for the past 2 weeks, I am very impressed with the quality and workmanship that is in this pistol. KRISS USA is importing it and they have a wonderful customer service. What does this have to do with SIG? Well, that was the way SIG used to be and somehow they can't seem to keep it. HOW MUCH DO MAGS COST THESE COMPANIES? NOT MUCH. Most are made by a company in Brescia , Italy and I think somewhere between $10-15. They make millions of them. Calling a young 23 year old up and try to sell him a mag for $45 , when it should have been included in the box when he bought it, is a little "cheap" to say the least. Most companies, Ruger, S&W, H&K, Taurus, send 2 mags with their guns.

One man's mess... :D

I kinda like their buy one, get one deal - seems a number of gun dealers broke 'em up, and I assume jacked the price up on each gun, selling them separately.

I just picked up my 2nd SIG 1911-22 for very little coin.

Unfortunately, I bought an SP2022 (FDE) 'bout 2 weeks too early (gotta stay off Slickguns) - got the e-mail 'bout the rebate after I'd bought.

They tell me the summer months are slow sales time for guns - I'll have to file that away and hold off on purchases until that time and wait for specials, rebates, etc.

BTW - the SIG offer is for centerfire pistols only.

That's really kind of Sig Sauer, especially since the price of all of their good models have been raised to around $1,000. I like their guns but they can keep them as far as I am concerned. I gave up on them when they started making their economy lines and different color schemes. I don't know about recent quality, but it is apparent they will do absolutely anything for a dollar now.

The email that I received from Sig said the rebate was good for purchases made from June 15 to August 1. I just wanted to mention that. It's possible we received two totally different emails, but with the rebate form I received you'll need to make your Sig purchase by August 1.

Cabela's is running a special right now with Sig. Buy a 226, 229, 938, or 1911 and get a free sig .22lr conversion kit and pistol bag. Cabela's prices aren't amazing, but with a free .22lr conversion kit they aren't bad either.

I agree with post #7. ;)
SIG Sauer USA(NH) had a big hiring push about 3 years ago.
They wanted to improve QC & the upper levels.
Did the succeed? I'm not sure.

I don't own any SIGs but a few PDs in my area use them(P226R, P229R, P220).
If I had a pile of $$$, Id buy a P938, I'm left handed & like its simple, safe egronomics.

They must have stockpiles of unsold .22 conversions sitting around if they
re giving them away.. Then again, the .22 conversions are that great of quality.

If I can get a hold of a P320 carry I will have to take advantage of that rebate.

I think next thing on their list should be attitude adjustment!

I just bought 2 SIG 1911-22's (FDE) - one's going to remain stock, one's going to be a poor man's race gun. Called SIG to see about buying a replacement slide in case my experiment goes awry, and they won't sell me anything! If I want a new slide, have to send the gun in - if I want parts that fit in the slide (in case I were to buy CW Accessories' EXoSKELETON slide, and did not want to transfer OEM slide internals), have to send in the OEM slide for that also.

OK...I just got a Mosquito in Desert Digital Camo - can I buy some extra basepads in the DD Camo finish like the ONE that came with the gun?
Nah...we don't sell any 22 magazine parts.

SIG has become (?) HK it seems - you know...because you suck and we hate you! :neener:
Since apparently no one but SIG is "qualified" to touch their guns (or maybe it's just another way to bleed money out of you), SIG has now fallen off my radar.

Mebbe when they get an attitude adjustment, I'll give some of their stuff a closer look / see in the future, but before I buy anything, think I'll call and see if I can get replacement parts without having to send in the gun!

"About 99.9% sure they don't have a .22 conversion for the 320."

From what I read the rebate is for all handguns except .22s. I am not sure I understand your point. Either way I prefer dedicated .22s over a conversion so I couldn't care less.

Basicblur,

From my experience no one beats Ruger and S&W for giving or selling you whatever parts you want. For the other brands retail dealers is the way to go.

Glock would not even sell me a spare trigger spring. Gosh dang insulting. ;)

I'll have to check with a couple of local SIG retailers to see if they can get the parts.

The slide was $150, $55 round trip shipping (no mention made of installation charge, etc).
I might could stand the price of the slide in case I screw up my original?

'Course, it's getting darn close to it being more economical to just buy another 1911-22 for spare parts at those prices?

I haven't checked with ATI yet - same gun ('cept for color), and ATI may sell the parts to individuals, probably cheaper since they don't have the SIG name on 'em!

I had my M11A1 on lay-a-way because of the rebate. I missed it with my new 226 by a week. Ugg.

However, I applied online Monday. I got an email today - it is denied. I called them this afternoon.

They apparently changed their mind Tues - you MUST use the form and send in the original labels from the Sig box.

Why have an option to do it online then? Anyway, they have my scanned receipt and application already - but now I must send in the labels on one of those forms. So, don't waste your time doing the online option. Print and send in the form!

Yeah, I had to do that just to get the third mag my M11 didn't leave the factory with...

Like the "buy one, get one" .22LR pistol mess...

I must have missed something. What was a mess about it? What went wrong with that offer?
I remember being very tempted...until we needed a new boiler...ouch. There went $8,500.

The "mess" was that SIG Sauer USA was completely unprepared for the huge response to the buy one, get a free .22LR pistol offer.

SIG ended the program way short & left a lot of customers unhappy.
They(the SIG Sauer execs) didn't factor in a few things before offering free guns to the US public; that customers have $, they can read & use soc media to share the rebate offer(s) & they are brand loyal.

Large firms like S&W, HK, Beretta, Ruger, SIG Sauer, etc shouldn't make offers or rebates they can not sustain or support.
