SIG Sauer now offers a after market kit for shooting .22LR in your 938 9x19mm pistol. ;)
See the SIG website for details. The sale price is listed at approx $279.00 USD.
The first few callers who buy this .22LR kit can also get a new range bag.
I don't own a 938, but I know many shooters like to practice or plink with .22LR.

kinda neat, if only .22lr ammo was around like it used to be at the old prices......

For real. And when I find it these days, it costs almost as much as 9mm.

I appreciate the option of a .22LR conversion for just about anything, but I'm reluctant to shoot any of the 22LR I have on hand and I have around 8K of various .22LR I've collected over the years.
I guess it's just that I know I can't replace what I shoot for anywhere near what I paid for it (much at around 2 or 3 cents a round).
It's silly logic, I know.

That doesn't keep me from having conversion kits for my 1911s and AR15, but I just don't use them as often as one would think.

I'd still probably buy one for my P238 if I ever stumbled upon one.

Thanks for the head's up, Rusty.

they also sell the 938 in 22lr. I almost got one recently. I wonder if I do, will they ever offer the 9mm conversion kits to convert it to a 9mm?

And the conversion is a third of the price of a complete 938. I can buy a Ruger SR22 for less than the conversion kit. Too costly for me.

If you want to drill and practice with .22LR in your carry gun, then even if it costs as much as a complete separate .22LR firearm, you're kind of stuck with paying for the conversion kit. CZ Cadet kits, AR conversion kits, AR uppers, Glock conversion kits, etc, or the 938 kit. At least it's on 'sale'. :D

Thanks, Rusty. Just told my friend who owns a 938 about it.

Your welcome.....

No problem, :D :

SIG Sauer had the free range bag offer too with the 938 kit purchase. That was a few days ago, so they may be out of SIG Sauer bags.

I agree that you can seek out or buy .22LR "trainers" in many popular styles but if you want one gun, .22LR kits can be handy.
I have not shot any 938s but the design/fit-engineering looks impressive.

It does look kinda neat. But I would have to think a bit before I spent that much money on it. I can understand the idea of extra practice with a carry gun, though.
