Hey guys,

It's about time I go back to the local gun shop and spend some more from my savings and invest on a new or used tack driving long range rig. Help me out here a bit. I love the remmies but I have been reading so many good things about the Savage 10FP's. Honestly I never been a huge fan of any of the Savage rifles, BUT THAT's TOTALY CHANGED.

I've already spent most of my funds on my 700P and it's Scope and the whole nine yards...

Here is what I'm looking for,

Total Spanding can't go over $1020 ( I wish It could)
-7.62 NATO is a must
-must shoot 1/under MOA at 100yards.
-a good mid waight stock (would love the McMillan but that would go over the max $$ total:Right?
-Blued-Heavy barrel
-Harris bipod

I'm leaning twards the 10FP. Should I stick with that option?
What are some other options?
If you have the same or similar spacifications What did you buy and how does it shoot and look?

Thanks in advance.

There's nothing wrong about the Savage, especially if you get the AccuTrigger.

Another rifle to consider is the Tikka T3 Varmint model in 308. Very accurate, great trigger, extremely smooth action and a factory guarantee of 1" or less groups @ 100 yds. Highly recommend the Tikka.

Here's my Savage. 10FP in .308 Win, Super Sniper 10x42, Bell & Carlson Duramaxx stock.

Here's what she can do.

My name is Farnham, and I'm a Savage fanboy. :D
