You didn't happen to know any Holt's in Artesia did you?

I'm sure that I did. Back then Artresia was pretty small and my wife was one of three local vets. So if they had animals I'm sure we've met them. If I had my druthers and could live anywhere in the state I think it would have to be South Western NM between Cliff, Sliver City area, and about Reserve NM. That seems to be about the last of the best as far as I can tell.

Good country for sure. With a little luck, I'll be down there this fall--well, actually a lot of luck invoved, i.e. Ibex tag. Fat chance, but I try every year!
