New Ruger Hawkeye Long Range Target

Very interesting new offering from Ruger. Comes in .300WinMag, 20MOA rail, takes AI magazines, with threaded muzzle and brake. It's been out for a couple weeks but I hadn't seen it on the home page of their website until now.

75-80% of MSRP is typical for Ruger.

What scope would you put on something like that, how would it need to be zeroed, and what accoutrements would you typically need to stretch this thing out?

I agree. In every category of firearms I've always thought a Ruger would be either my 1st or 2nd choice. But lately more and more are becoming my 1st choice. They make several firearms that don't really interest me, including this one. But that doesn't mean they aren't good guns. They make something for just about everyone. A reasonable priced pump and/or semi-auto shotgun would complete their dominance over other gun makers.
