I think the investment in a K-22 is always worth it. They really do make accurate shooting easy with the excellent trigger in a medium frame with great sights.

When I was a kid, I borrowed my uncle's K22 a lot, sweet gun. It was nickeled with big wood grips. However, my Ruger Mk 2 shoots just as good or better for a lot less money than a good K22 Masterpiece would likely set you back. Blasphemy I suppose, on the revolver board, but just sayin'.......
