New S & W 340PD

I picked up a s&w 340pd today for the small sum of $400.00. thet retail for 699.00 at some places. this person brought ia day ago and didn't like the way it kicked. so he asked me if I wanted it.I said I didn't have that kind of money,that he spent on it. He said I'll take a loss make me an offer. I said all I could afford was $400.00. He said deal! So Christmas came early for me.

Wow, great score there! I got mine used almost the same way. A dealer sold the 340PD to a guy who shot it once and then promptly returned it. I got mine for $525.00 and I thought that was a great deal.....I didn't think I was going to like the "Hi-Viz" front sight at first, but after some range time with it, I found that I really liked the way that front sight stood out against the targets. Very easy to pick up and get on target.

I carry mine with 135 grain Speer .38spl +P Gold Dots. It usually rides in either a Galco or Don Hume pocket rig:

Yours looks like the twin of mine!! I'm using winnys 130 GR stx's.
Do you recomend any other?
