Looking at options for different grips for my S&W 340PD.

This is my pocket gun so the grips need to be of boot grip style.

Looking for something to help tame some of the recoil, kind of like the Crimson Trace LG-405's.

I may just pick up a set of the Crimson Trace grips eventually, but don't want to spend the money right now.

Short Grip

If you have deep pockets (figuratively that is) you may want to try a set of Hogue Monogrips. The padding and grip are wonderful. The downside, they are a bit long but if you have deep pockets or go shirt out it may not be an issue. For the price, usally under $20 you should give them a try.

I haven't tried any of the Pachmyer Decelerators for snubs. Might be worth a look.

CT should make a grip like the 405 w/o the laser, they could probably sell a bunch.

We are posting/petitioning a letter to Hogue for a shortened down version of the Monogrip for snubs. Keep an eye out for it.
