I finally decided to pick one of these up last friday. Saturday I was at the range with my new gun and 200 rounds of WWB 9mm. This little gun runs like a sewing machine and it is a blast to shoot with both the 10 round and the 16 round magazines. No problems of any kind and it is very accurate and easy to handle. It fits my hand much better than my Glock 26 and it was no problem to shoot even in a 200 round range session. I was disappointed when I had used up all my ammo and had to go home! I was considering going with an XD40 but I think that I will be happier with my little 9.

It never left my hip all weekend. I carried it IWB in a cheap Uncle Mike's nylon holster and it worked just fine. Tommorow my Bianchi Pro 100 holster and spare mags should arrive and then I will be all set :)

Now that's good shootin at 15 yds and rapid fire. I was looking at them today at the range. Also looked at the 4" barrel. Triggers are very nice.

I can't say enough how pleasantly surprised I am with the XD9sc. It's accuracy is amazing and it is truly a joy to shoot.

I have the same pistol and it is surprisingly accurate and comfortable. I also added a Crimson Trace Laser Grip to mine since it is my primary carry pistol. God forbid that I ever have to use it, but if I do I want the extra feedback (laser dot) that I'm indeed on target in that stressful situation.

I wish I could shoot as good as you with the rapid fire... Nice Shootin'

congrats on the fine xd sc, i have the .40 sc and i love it, even more so then the service model, they are everything that i hoped for an more. i am glad that you like it so.

I just ordered an EFK 9MM conversion barrel for my .40 SC. It is sheduled to get to me Friday. I will shoot it Saturday with any luck. The 9MM mag may not be here in time , but I will shoot it even if I have to try using the .40 mag.

They have made them for the 4" guns for a while. I have been waiting for them to come out with the SC conversion barrels. :)

I currently only own an HK USPc40, but have owned and sold a lot of other handguns including an XD40 4" and an XD45 4". The XD platform is no joke. It is a very well-designed and awesome shooting gun. Controlled both the .40 and the .45 and made them a pleasure to shoot... the 9mm XD sc seemed even easier to shoot. The way the little gun balances in your hand is perfect IMO. It shoots soooo soft and accuracy is up to par with some 4" service guns. I still love my H&K, I even love Glocks, but something about the XD feels so right to me that I'm going to have to get another some day.

I like mine better after teh Pearce grip extension.
Ordered that along with the 9MM mag. I also have one on my XD SC .40 mag.

Katana8869 shoots pretty danged good with his new XD SC 9mm.

It's purty too. :)

I love these XD pistols, they all shoot so nice. If you want to do something for them thats worth it get a trigger job, it realy makes them shine.

Nice!

Been entertaining the idea of a second gun.

Looks like the bi-tone 9mmSC will be next. A very cool looking gun!

Congrats!

Nice gun.
Thats some fine shooting you've done, my targets dont look that good shooting slow fire @ 10yds with my XD9. LOL
Probly b/c I dont practice any, in one range trip youve already shot double what Ive put through mine in a year and half.

Don't have one of the sub compacts but I did just get a service 9 but have not had the chance to fire it yet. How many rounds did you shoot before you could group like that with the new gun? I can see I need some practice!!

Actually that was my second target of the day. But I do have to add that I was already used to the feel and the action of the XD thanks to my XD45C so it wasn't too much of an adjustment. I fired this group and turned to one of my range buddies with a BIG grin and said "I think this one's going to work!" LOL I usually need an "adjustment period" with a new gun, but from the first shot this Subcompact handled like it was made for me.

I try to go to the range at least twice a month and shoot something, whether it is one of my autos, one of my revolvers or just goofing around with my Ruger MKII. A typical range trip for me consist of about 200 rounds. I reload so it's not too hard to keep enough ammo on hand. I just can't store up what I would like to because I shoot it as fast as I load it! :) I have a set of 9mm dies that belonged to my Dad, so I guess it's time to break them out.

Nice shooting!!!! I actually owned the HS2000 (same gun, before Springfield purchased them and added the rail), loved the gun, but sold it...I am on my way to getting the full line of XD's...currently I have the 4"-.40, can't decide if the 9 or the 45 will come first...decision, decisions...why do they make it so hard???? arghhhhhh!
