I ordered this last week and picked it up Wednesday at the dealer, the the Man in Brown showed up Wednesday evening with the scope and rings, just like Christmas. I went ahead and got silver rings and bases since the scope I ordered was silver, that's all because they had such a good deal on the silver model.
It's a Savage 12 FV in .243 with 26" barrel, Weaver Grand Slam 6.5-20, Burris Zee rings with inserts for 20 MOA elevation adjustment. Planning on using this primarily for paper punching out to 600 yards, maybe try an F class match. I also got my Berger bullets and Lapua brass in a seperate shipment.
If anyone is needing a target scope this Weaver Grand Slam is quite a deal at Natchezss.com right now. The silver models are on sale at $277, it's an excellent scope for that price.
