Well, he's new to me anyway. I stumbled across this place when I did a search on gun grips. When you keep the search words simple, more grip-makers come up.

He says he can make grips for any single action, turn around in shop is 4 days, and he will fit them to your gun FREE FOR NUTHIN'!!! They ain't cheap, but if you're going to have grips fitted, the price is comparable to Hogue, and a little cheaper than Eagle. And turn around is shorter by 1 to 2 months!

I have a Colt Frontier Scout out at Fords being nickel plated. When it comes back, I think I'm grabbing a pair of these.

Some very beautiful and unusual woods. Check out American Holly (looks like Ivory).

Anyone have a Colt Colt they want to spoil? Pohill? heh heh :D

They do have great stuff! I'm having them build me a coule sets for some custom guns Gallagher is doing for me. They're great to deal with.

Very nice grips.

Why do grips need to be custom fit?

Is there variation in the frames of the same model guns? For example, Won't the grips on my Pietta 1851 fit on your Pietta 1851?

Why wouldn't a manufacturers framework be all alike?

There is a fair amount of variation in single action grip frames. Colt clones are the worst. Real Colts often require fitting also. Ruger frames are generally more uniform, and grips for them often fit right out of the box.

Why this is the case I do not know, but every major maker of single action grips I know of, says the same thing.

The good part is, this guy does it for free. Eagle charges about $ 45 on top of the price of the grips. I don't know what Hogue charges.
