New-to-me S&W 65-5, 3" barrel (Ohio prison trade)

My local Columbus gun connection got in a a few dozen 3" barreled S&W Model 64's and Model 65's.

Since I didn't have anything 3" in my collection, I figured it was time to remedy this. This is my new 65-5 S&W 357 Magnum.



Clean as a whistle inside, smooth trigger, hardly any turn ring. I added the Pachmayrs because it had a set of Hogues and I don't like the Hogue Monogrip the way I like Pachs.

Not bad for $375?

Agreed with Beat Trash. I've been on the hunt for a "non safe queen" 3" 65. Any more of these that your source would ship to an FFL?

You will definately like the 3" 65. I find I carry mine off duty more and more now a days instead of any of my other guns.
