I bought the polymer version, and it is a good pistol, but I got a chance to upgrade to a steel one that is some kind of target model. It has the extended beaver tail and adjustable sights. Does anyone know which particular model this is? I got it with the box and papers and an extra magazine. On the paperwork someone wrote "1993". Forgive the bad cell pic. In person it looks like it hasn't been shot much. I am looking forward to shooting it tomorrow morning. All of my Tanfoglio CZ75 clones have been very good shooters. This one has an excellent trigger.

I can't really tell you about the gun in particular, is it ported?

also, I fixed your picture, though I can't get it to inset inline.

It's not ported. Thanks for helping with the picture. It looks great!

It's an EAA (European American Armory), model is a Witness. Around that time 1993, a few deputies I worked with carried this gun and liked it. There were no duty holsters for them, but the guns would lock into Beretta holsters.

I am seriously considering one of them for my next purchase. Yours looks great, waiting on a range report!

The trigger is not as good as I hoped. The DA portion is very good, but the SA portion is longer and stiffer than my 9mm version. It was obviously never fired much, and I am hoping the trigger will smooth out a bit with use. It functioned 99% due to me limp-wristing it once. The recoil wasn't much. Once I got used to it I shot nice groups. The extended beavertail is nice.

The trigger on my polymer fixed-sight version is better. I will shoot them both a couple more times before I decide which to sell.

My Israeli surplus 9mm version is better than either. Its trigger is great, and its size and weight make follow-up shots fast and easy. The recoil is squat.

I am 6'6" and my FiL is 6'8". If you have big hands, the large-framed versions will fit them well. My 5'6" friend can't grip them properly.

The evidence points to it being fired a couple hundred rounds and then put back in its box for 24 years, so I will give it a chance to smooth out some.
