I bought a used tikka t3 blue syn stock in .223, 80 rounds of reloads came with it marked 25grs benchmark with a 55gr bullet. i pulled a bullet and weighted the powder, it had 24.8 grs in it. then I weighted the caseing and bullet and added up the bullet-case-powder weight and then weighted the other 79 complete rounds and they came in very, very close to the weight of the pulled round. I shot three at 100 yards with a 4x12-AO leupold scope mounted and they went into a .650 group, I think I,ll use that load after I use up all the rounds that came with the rifle. over all I,m impressed with the tikka t3. eastbank.

I hope you trust the loader, but that sounds awesome!!! Tikka's are amazing rifles. I had yet another frustrating day with a muzzleloader yesterday but a single shot out of my Tikka, 2" above bullseye which is right where I wanted it, made me leave with a smile on my face!

That's why I always take two rifles to the range. :D

I have the same scope on a .223 Howa 1500 HB. So far I haven't been shooting groups that tight but I'm still working on the load. I'm using AR Comp and because I have so much of it I'll find the load sooner or later. A friend has a T3 and I've shot it. I tried to buy it from him but he won't budge. I think he knows it's a keeper. :D

I've never heard anyone say anything bad about a Tikka. Might be my next purchase if I can make some space in the safe.

Very nice.

I just bought a T3 in .308 - turned out to be the last NIB .308 they had at EuroOptic, and I got it for a steal at $480. Can't wait to shoot it.

Ya, I know watcha mean about unknown reloads. I was given a bag of 200 reloaded .30 carbine hollow points. Not being sure if I wanted to risk shooting them in one of my prized GI carbines, I put them in my "emergency war reserve" pile......:)
Nice work with the Tikka Eastbank! Someday, I hope to put a .243 T3 next to my Weatherby.....

I know what you mean about reloads and mostly brake them down for componets, but I know the exowner of the t3 and have shot with him with his reloads before and after weighting them gave them a try. eastbank

Tikkas are horrible rifles! That’s a lie of course. But now you can’t say you’ve never heard (read) it before.

Talked my good friend into one in 243 about 8 months ago. Around a month ago he went out and put 5 shots into 3/4 of an inch at 300 yards. I don’t know why they’re so accurate. But they are. So he bought another one (Hunter model this time) in 338WM. This one shot 2” at 300 yards with 200gr Hornady factory ammo.

yes it will, I shot several wolf 62gr fmj with out any problems with FTF-FTE and several lake city GI ammo with the same results. eastbank.

I have had my Tikka T3 S.S. for a few years now. I look at it as a economy Sako model. Bought it as a target rifle sense I don't hunt any more. And I shoot both .223 Rem. and 5.56 Nato in it cause the ammo is inexpensive and it soots both just fine.
